 MARCH 7, 2016
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE PLAN PREPARED BY A
 LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT, PER SECTION 94-442 (A).
  
 2. PLEASE REVISE THE OPEN SPACE DIAGRAM FOR THE
 REQUIRED 25% PRIVATE OPEN SPACE ON SHEET A-1.02 TO MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2ND FLOOR POOL AREA AS ROOFTOP
 GARDEN AND MEET THE DEFINITION FOUND IN SECTION 94-109.
 ROOFTOP GARDEN CATEGORY REQUIRES 30% VEGETATED AREA,
 AND 20% TREE CANOPY.
  
 3. PRIVATE OPEN SPACE CATEGORY FOR INTERIOR COURTYARD
 MUST MEET THE REQUIREMENTS ON ITS OWN OF 20% VEGETATED
 AREA, AND 40% TREE CANOPY.
  
 4. PLEASE SHOW THE CALCULATIONS FOR TREE CANOPY BY
 SPECIES PER SECTION 94-109 TABLE IV-8 FOR ALL
 APPLICABLE REQUIRED AREAS.
  
 1. PLEASE PROVIDE WATER NEEDS CATEGORY FOR EACH SPECIES
 ON THE PLANT LIST FROM THE SFWMD WATERWISE GUIDE TO
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE
 CHART SECTION 94-446 (G).
  
 5. PLEASE PROVIDE A TREE DISPOSITION PLAN INCLUDING THE
 CANOPY SIZES AND INDICATING WHETHER THE EXISTING TREES
 AND PALMS WILL BE PRESERVED, RELOCATED OR REMOVED.
  
 6. STREET TREES LOCATED IN A SIDEWALK THAT IS ADJACENT
 TO A PERVIOUS LANDSCAPE AREA SHALL HAVE THE STRUCTURAL
 SOIL EXTENDED UNDER THE SIDEWALK TO MEET THE LANDSCAPE
 AREA IF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE 5 FOOT REQUIRED
 STRUCTURAL SOIL AND THE LANDSCAPE AREA IS LESS THAN 4
 FEET. PLEASE SHOW THESE AREAS ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 7. PLEASE SHOW SAFE SIGHT TRIANGLE AT VEHICLE ENTRANCES
 AND EXITS. THE ENTRANCES NEED TO BE ENGINEERED TO ALLOW
 ANY TREES AND SHRUBS AND GROUNDCOVER TO BE PLANTED IN
 ANY LANDSCAPE AREAS LOCATED ADJACENT TO THEM, AND STILL
 ALLOW SAFE SIGHT TRIANGLES TO BE CLEAR.
  
 8. PLEASE INDICATE LOCATIONS OF STREET TREES ALONG 3RD
 STREET AND ROSEMARY AND SHOW TREE GRATES AND STRUCTURAL
 SOIL DETAIL AND LOCATION.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
