 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
 STAFF HAS REVIEWED PLANS AND OFFERED COMMENTS, AND
 SEVERAL COMMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. STAFF IS
 AVAILABLE TO MEET WITH THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT TO
 CLARIFY ANY COMMENTS AND HELP RESOLVE ANY ISSUES.

 5. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A TREE DISPOSITION
 PLAN INCLUDING THE CANOPY SIZES AND INDICATING WHETHER
 THE EXISTING TREES AND PALMS WILL BE PRESERVED,
 RELOCATED OR REMOVED.
  
 6. NOT SATISFIED. STREET TREES LOCATED IN A SIDEWALK
 THAT IS ADJACENT TO A PERVIOUS LANDSCAPE AREA SHALL
 HAVE THE STRUCTURAL SOIL EXTENDED UNDER THE SIDEWALK TO
 MEET THE LANDSCAPE AREA IF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE 5
 FOOT REQUIRED STRUCTURAL SOIL AND THE LANDSCAPE AREA IS
 LESS THAN 4 FEET. PLEASE SHOW THESE AREAS ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN.

 PLEASE PROVIDE OAK TREES AS REQUIRED ON 30 FOOT
 SPACING. CHANGE MEDJOOL DATE PALMS AT DROP OFF TO OAKS,
 AND ADD THE REQUIRED OAK IN THE CENTER OF THE DROP OFF.

 9. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A CHART SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-442(G) FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 10. NOT SATISFIED. THE ENGINEERING PLAN SUBMITTED SHOWS
 GREASE TRAPS AND WATER LINE CONNECTIONS IN CONFLICT
 WITH PROPOSED LANDSCAPING. PLEASE SHOW THE UTILITIES ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND ADDRESS CONFLICTS.
  
 11. NOT SATISFIED. STAFF SUGGESTS THAT TREE GRATES ONLY
 BE PROPOSED WHERE NECESSARY FOR SIDEWALK TRAVEL WIDTH,
 OTHERWISE EXPANDED PLANTING AREAS ARE PREFERRED ALONG
 3RD ST. A MINIMUM OF 8 FEET OF SIDEWALK WIDTH IS
 REQUIRED, AND THE REST OF THE SPACE CAN BE PLANTING
 AREA OR 4X4 TREE GRATES ONLY. IF STREET PARKING IS
 ADJACENT TO THE AREA, PASS THROUGH AREAS MUST BE
 PROVIDED.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
