 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE CORRECT THE OPEN SPACE DIAGRAM ON SHEET OSP1
 TO REFLECT THE MAXIMUM IMPERVIOUS AREA AS 80%.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE ROOFTOP
 AMENITY DECK.
  
 3. PLEASE PROVIDE CALCULATIONS FOR THE BUFFER TREES
 REQUIRED FOR ALL 4 BUFFER LENGTHS, AND INDICATE HOW
 MANY WILL BE ELIMINATED THROUGH THE WAIVER REQUESTS.
  
 4. PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL OF THE PLANTING SYSTEM ALONG
 THE WEST FA?ADE, AND INCLUDE A CROSS SECTION SHOWING
 THE INSTALLATION RELATIVE TO THE PROPERTY LINE. STAFF
 HAS CONCERNS REGARDING LONG TERM MAINTENANCE OF THIS
 FEATURE, AND HOW ACCESS WILL BE OBTAINED FROM FEC RIGHT
 OF WAY. THIS WILL BE USED TO EVALUATE IF THIS AREA
 QUALIFIES AS FOUNDATION PLANTING AREA.
  
 5. THE DATA PROVIDED ON SHEET LP-1 NEEDS TO BE
 CLARIFIED TO REFLECT THE NUMBER OF TREES PROVIDED IN
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN. THE MITIGATION CHART WILL INCLUDE
 THE DETAILS OF HOW MANY TREES ARE BEING RELOCATED.
  
 6. PLEASE CORRECT THE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN FOR THE
 FOLLOWING:

 ? IDENTIFY THE YELLOW TABS AND PINK TABS INDIVIDUALLY.
 ? TREES TO BE RELOCATED NEED TO BE TAGGED WITH THEIR

 PROPOSED LANDSCAPE PLAN
 ? PROVIDE THE CATEGORY FOR EACH TREE TO BE REMOVED AND
 REPLACED 1:1
  
 7. PLEASE PROVIDE A PLAN FOR THE RELOCATION SHOWING HOW
 TREES TO BE RELOCATED WILL BE STORED OR PLACED
 PERMANENTLY DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION.
  
 8. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DROUGHT TOLERANCE LEVEL FOR EACH
 PLANT SPECIES ON THE PLANT LIST CHARTS TO VERIFY
 PERCENTAGES CLAIMED WITH THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-442 (G).
  
 9. STREET TREES LOCATED IN A SIDEWALK SHALL HAVE
 STRUCTURAL SOIL EXTENDING 5 FEET IN ALL DIRECTIONS UP
 TO THE CURB. INDICATE STRUCTURAL SOIL LOCATIONS AND
 PROVIDE A TYPICAL STRUCTURAL SOIL DETAIL ON THE
 LANDSCAPE DETAIL PAGE.
  
 10. PLEASE ADD A DETAIL FOR THE TREE GRATES. THE TREE
 GRATES MUST BE U S FOUNDRY 9531.
  
 11. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS ON THE JAPANESE BLUEBERRY TO
 MEET THE DEFINITION OF SHADE TREE PER CODE. MUST REACH
 A MATURE SIZE OF AT LEAST15 FEET TALL AND PROVIDE A
 CANOPY OF 15 FEET WIDE.
  
 12. PLEASE PROVIDE THE VARIETY FOR THE LAGERSTROEMIA TO
 VERIFY THEY WILL MEET THE SHADE TREE REQUIREMENTS.
 SINGLE TRUNK MAY ALSO BE MORE APPROPRIATE IN SOME
 INSTANCES.
  
 13. THE JAPANESE BLUEBERRY SIZE SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT
 ADEQUATE FOR PLACEMENT AS STREET TREES. THE SIZE MUST
 BE AT LEAST 14 FEET, AND 6 TO 7 FOOT CLEAR TRUNK TO
 ALLOW CLEARANCE FOR PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.
 OAKS MAY BE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR STREET TREES.
  
 14. PLEASE PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 15. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES
 WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY
 FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
  
 16. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF ALL GROUND MOUNTED
 EQUIPMENT INCLUDING FPL TRANSFORMERS, A/C UNITS, ETC.,
 AND PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT
 AND UTILITIES.
  
 PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE
 REQUESTED, AND STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AS
 THE REVIEW PROCESS CONTINUES.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES, TREE GRATES, RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING, TREE GRATES AND IRRIGATION ADJACENT TO
 THE PROPERTY. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A SEPARATE
 MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
