 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE CALCULATIONS FOR THE
 REQUIRED TREES IN THE NEW AREA OF THE SOUTH BUFFER.
 THE 122 FEET OF NEW BUFFER REQUIRES 5 TREES. PLEASE
 PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL TREE.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PALMS MAY BE SUBSTITUTED IN THE SOUTH
 BUFFER FOR REQUIRED TREES, UP TO 35% OF THE REQUIRED
 TREES ON SITE.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PLEASE REVISE THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO SHOW
 PALMS ADDED IN THE EXISTING TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS
 TO MEET THE CODE REQUIREMENTS. THERE IS SUFFICIENT
 PLANTING AREA TO SUPPORT THEM.
  
 4. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE CORRECT THE NORTH BUFFER
 CALCULATION TO SHOW 11 REQUIRED TREES. PLEASE CALCULATE
 USING THE LENGTH OF THE BUFFER AND PROVIDE A TREE FOR
 EACH 30 FEET OR PORTION THEREOF FOR ALL BUFFERS.
  
 THE NORTH BUFFER IS 305 FEET REQUIRING 11 TREES. PLEASE
 REVISE.Z1512
  
 5. SATISFIED. PLEASE REVISE THE LANDSCAPE AND SITE
 PLANS TO SHOW CURBS AND PERVIOUS OVERHANG INSTEAD OF
 WHEEL STOPS TO EXPAND THE EXISTING LANDSCAPE DIVIDER
 STRIPS, ALLOWING MORE AREA FOR THE EXISTING TREES.
  
 6. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION
 ON THE CONDITION OF THE EXISTING TREES PROPOSED TO BE
 REMOVED, SUCH AS AN ASSESSMENT FROM A CERTIFIED
 ARBORIST. STAFF OBSERVATIONS ON SITE DO NOT REVEAL ANY
 REASON TO REMOVE THE EXISTING MAHOGANY TREES IN THE
 DIVIDER MEDIANS.
  
 STAFF REQUESTS TO MEET THE CONSULTING ARBORIST ON SITE
 TO CLARIFY AND DOCUMENT THE LOCATIONS OF DESCRIBED
 HAZARDS FOR EACH TREE.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROPOSE A TALLER SPECIES OF HEDGE
 IN THE EXISTING TERMINAL ISLANDS ALONG THE ALLEY.

 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
