2015-10-13 14:51:26I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE PROVIDE A TREE SURVEY IDENTIFYING EXISTING
 TREES ON THE PROPERTY AND INDICATE THE SPECIES, SIZE,
 AND IF THEY WILL BE REMOVED, RELOCATED, OR REMAIN.
 PLEASE PROVIDE A MITIGATION CHART TO REFLECT THE TREE
 INVENTORY, AND PROVIDE PERTINENT INFORMATION FOR EACH
 TREE PER SECTION 94-448 (E) INCLUDING SPECIES, CANOPY
 SIZE AND REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENT FOR ANY TREES PROPOSED
 TO BE REMOVED.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUIRED OPEN SPACE CALCULATION
 TO REFLECT THE REQUIRED 40 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL SITE
 AREA AND PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED SHADE AND FLOWERING TREE
 AND SHRUB CALCULATIONS PER SECTION 94-442.
  
 3. PLEASE REMOVE REFERENCES TO SECTION 94-113, AS THIS
 IS NOT APPLICABLE.
  
 4. TREES, PALMS AND SHRUBS PROPOSED TO BE PLANTED IN
 THE RIGHT OF WAY CANNOT BE COUNTED TOWARD ON SITE
 REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE PROVIDE A SEPARATE PLANT LIST FOR
 ANY OFF SITE LANDSCAPING.
  
 5. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUIRED TREES FOR ALL LANDSCAPE
 BUFFERS ON SITE PER SECTION 94-443.
  
 6. A LANDSCAPE ISLAND MUST BE PROVIDED ON THE NORTH END
 OF THE ROW OF PARKING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3).
  
 7. PLEASE PROVIDE A SCREENING HEDGE ON THE WEST SIDE OF
 THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
  
 8. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-443(C)(3) AND
 (4) TO PROVIDE THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE AREAS WITHIN THE
 PARKING AREAS BASED ON PARKING SPACES AND OTHER PAVED
 AREAS.
  
 9. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-443(E) AND
 PROVIDE LANDSCAPING FOR AT LEAST 30 PERCENT OF THE
 LINEAR FEET AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING.
  
  
  
 10. PLEASE PROVIDE A ROOT BARRIER DETAIL AND SHOW
 LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT INFRASTRUCTURE
 AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES WATER, SEWER,
 DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY FIELD STRUCTURES
 THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
  
 11. PLEASE SHOW ALL UTILITIES INCLUDING FPL, WATER,
 SEWER, AND DRAINAGE ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN. PLEASE
 PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND
 UTILITIES.
  
 PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE
 REQUESTED, AND STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AS
 THE REVIEW PROCESS CONTINUES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
