2015-10-13 14:40:52I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE REVISE THE EXISTING TREE LIST TO IDENTIFY THE
 SPECIES BY SCIENTIFIC NAME.
  
 2. PLEASE REVISE THE REQUIRED OPEN SPACE CALCULATION ON
 SHEET L-2 TO REFLECT 40 PERCENT OF THE TOTAL SITE AREA
 OF 74,053 AS 29,261 SQ FT., AND CHECK ALL REQUIRED TREE
 AND SHRUB CALCULATIONS.
  
 3. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF MOISTURE SENSING
 CONTROLLER THAT WILL BE UTILIZED FOR THE IRRIGATION
 OTHER THAN A RAINSWITCH.
  
 4. PLEASE CORRECT THE NUMBER OF PALMS PROVIDED ON THE
 DATA CHART TO MATCH THE PLANT LIST QUANTITY OF TEN.
  
 5. PLEASE CORRECT THE LINEAR FOOTAGE FOR BUILDING
 LANDSCAPING TO REFLECT THE DEDUCTION OF THE LOADING
 ZONE AND ENTRANCE AREAS.
  
 6. TOTAL TREES PROVIDED SHOULD BE 52, AS THE PALMS ARE
 CREDITED AT TWO PALMS EQUAL TO ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING
 TREE.
  
 7. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DROUGHT TOLERANCE LEVEL FOR EACH
 PLANT SPECIES ON THE PLANT LIST, TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH SECTION 94-442(G) FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPING
 REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE LABEL THE SECTION IN THE CHART AS
 SUCH. ADDING A COLUMN IDENTIFYING NATIVE PLANTS IS ALSO
 SUGGESTED.
  
 8. PLEASE INCLUDE A ROOT BARRIER DETAIL AND SHOW
 LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT INFRASTRUCTURE
 AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES WATER, SEWER,
 DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY FIELD STRUCTURES
 THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
  
 9. PLEASE PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED
 EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES. PROVIDE ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPE
 SCREENING FOR THE DDCV ALONG MERCER AVE.
  
 10. THE FOUNDATION PLANTING IS LACKING IN TREES. PLEASE
 PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SMALL TREES OR PALMS.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
