 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE REVISE THE TREE SURVEY
 IDENTIFYING EXISTING TREES ON THE PROPERTY AND INDICATE
 THE SPECIES, CANOPY SIZE, AND IF THEY WILL BE REMOVED,
 RELOCATED, OR REMAIN. EXPLAIN THE METHODOLOGY AS TO HOW
 TREES WERE CLASSIFIED TO BE RECORDED ON THE SURVEY OR
 LEFT OUT, AND REVISE THE INVENTORY ACCORDINGLY, AS
 THERE ARE TREES ON THE SITE THAT WERE MISIDENTIFIED OR
 LEFT OFF OF THE TREE SURVEY. THERE ARE STILL
 INCONSISTENCIES ON THE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN AND TREE
 INVENTORY. STAFF CAN MEET WITH THE APPLICANT TO REVIEW
 THEM.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A 10 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER
 ALONG SKEES ROAD AND THE NON-COMMERCIAL SECTION
 ADJACENT TO OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD PER SECTION 94-443(D).
 ALONG OKEECHOBEE, IT APPEARS THE 10 FEET IS AVAILABLE,
 BUT ONLY 5 FEET IS INDICATED STARTING 5 FEET FROM THE
 PROPERTY LINE.
  
 3. SATISFIED. THE DECLARATION OF RESTRICTIONS INDICATES
 A 15 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER, A 2 FOOT BERM, AND A 6 FOOT
 WALL FOR THE SOUTH BUFFER. PLEASE REVISE THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN TO INCLUDE THESE ELEMENTS.
  
 4. SATISFIED. THE 20 FOOT SPACING FOR THE TREES IN THE
 SOUTH BUFFER SHOULD BE MAINTAINED ADJACENT TO THE 12
 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT PASSING THROUGH THE BUFFER.
  
 5. SATISFIED. PLEASE SHOW THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PARKING
 SPACES PROVIDED ON THE SITE PLAN DATA CHART AND USE
 THIS NUMBER FOR THE CALCULATION OF LANDSCAPE AREA
 REQUIRED PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3).
  
 6. SATISFIED. PLEASE DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 94-443 (C)(4) FOR THE AMOUNT OF LANDSCAPE AREA
 REQUIRED IN THE LANDSCAPE ISLANDS PROVIDING 4 SQUARE
 FEET FOR EACH 100 SQUARE FEET OF OTHER PAVED AREAS
 ADDITIONAL TO PARKING SPACES.
  
 7. SATISFIED. ONE SHADE TREE PER LANDSCAPE ISLAND MUST
 BE PROVIDED PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3), PLEASE PROVIDE
 THE TOTAL AND REMOVE LANGUAGE REFERRING TO SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREES PER 100 SQUARE FEET.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE ISLAND ON
 EITHER SIDE OF THE MAINTENANCE BUILDING ACCESS FROM THE
 PARKING LOT.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PLEASE EXPLAIN THE LACK OF TREES OR PALMS
 BETWEEN THE CLUBHOUSE AND BUILDING 5.
  
 10. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE HEDGING AND TREES ON AT
 LEAST 30 PERCENT OF THE PERIMETER OF THE MAINTENANCE
 BUILDING, ESPECIALLY THE SIDES FACING THE ENTRANCE AND
 OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD.
  
 11. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE TREES OR SMALL FLOWERING
 TREES ALONG THE REAR OF THE GARAGES TO PROVIDE
 ADDITIONAL SCREENING.
  
 12. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DROUGHT TOLERANCE
 LEVEL FOR THE FLORITAM SOD ON THE PLANT LIST.
  
 13. SATISFIED. PLEASE INCLUDE A ROOT BARRIER DETAIL AND
 SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES
 WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY
 FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
 THERE ARE MULTIPLE CONFLICTS BETWEEN WATER AND SEWER
 LINES AND TREES.
  
 14. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES. PROVIDE ADDITIONAL
 LANDSCAPE SCREENING FOR THE LIFT STATION.
  
 15. SATISFIED. 37 SABAL PALMS ARE PROPOSED ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN. THERE ARE MANY SABAL PALMS THAT ARE
 VERY GOOD SIZE ON SITE THAT CAN BE PRESERVED AND USED.
  
 16. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT WILL BE DONE
 WITH THE EXISTING VEGETATION IN THE CANAL AREAS ALONG
 THE WEST AND NORTH SIDES OF THE PROJECT. THE VEGETATION
 ALONG THE CANAL BANKS CONTAINS INVASIVE EXOTICS. PLEASE
 WORK WITH LAKE WORTH DRAINAGE DISTRICT TO ARRANGE
 REMOVAL OF INVASIVE EXOTICS.
  
 17. SATISFIED. PLEASE CHANGE THE TYPICAL TREE PLANTING
 DETAIL TO THE CITY APPROVED VERSION. THIS IS INCLUDED
 IN THE APPLICATION.
  
 NEW COMMENTS 7/29/15
  
 18. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE TREES AND PALMS THAT ARE TO
 REMAIN OR BE RELOCATED BY TAG NUMBER ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN, AND PROVIDE A TREE PROTECTION PLAN. THE SABAL
 PALMS TO BE RELOCATED WILL BE EXEMPT FROM FINAL
 LOCATION NUMBERING DUE TO SELECTION OF SOME AT THE TIME
 OF CLEARING.
  
 19. PLEASE INDICATE HOW AND WHERE RELOCATED PALMS WILL
 BE STORED ON THE TREE PROTECTION PLAN DURING SITE WORK.
  
 20. PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THE TREES WILL BE PRESERVED ON
 THE COMMERCIAL SITE WHERE THERE IS A CONFLICT WITH
 WATER LINES TO BE INSTALLED WITH THIS PROJECT THAT WILL
 MOST LIKELY PREVENT PRESERVATION. PLEASE REVISE THE
 TREE DISPOSITION PLAN AS NEEDED.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
