 OF ALL PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHANGES ON THE
 RESUBMITTED PLANS OR THE SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION/PLANS
 TO ADDRESS THE COMMENTS MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE PLANNING DIVISION HAS NOT
 RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO THE PPRC COMMENTS WITHIN 60 DAYS
 FROM THE DATE OF THE PPRC MEETING (BY JULY 13, 2015),
 THE CASE SHALL BE CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN. ANY FURTHER
 ACTION SHALL REQUIRE A NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE PERMITTED ONE (1)
 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
 COMMENTS CONTINUE TO NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED, THE
 APPLICANT WILL BE ACCESSED A RESUBMITTAL FEE. SUCH FEE
 WILL BE 20% OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION FEE ($60).
  
 1) AN UPDATED SURVEY IS REQUIRED. IT SHALL INCLUDE THE
 CURRENT "AS BUILT" CONDITIONS OF THE WESTERN PORTION OF
 THE SITE. THIS CONDITION SHALL BE THEN REFLECTED ON ALL
 THE PLANS. AN EXAMPLE OF DISCREPANCY - THREE COMPACT
 PARKING SPACES WERE CONSTRUCTED, NOT TWO AS SHOWN ON
 THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE PLANS. ALL PLANS AND DATE TABLES
 SHALL BE UPDATED ACCORDINGLY.
  
 2) NO PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING/CIVIL PLAN FOR THE NEW
 LAYOUT WAS PROVIDED.
  
 3) THE PEDESTRIAN PATH SHALL BE A SMOOTH CURVILINEAR
 PATH A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) FEET IN WIDTH. IT SHALL NOT
 HAVE THE RIGHT ANGLES AS SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED PLAN.
 THE PATH IS SHOW AS LITTLE AS THREE (3) FEET WIDE IN
 PLACES.
  
 4) THE PRESCHOOL DROP OFF PULL OUT SHALL HAVE ROUNDED
 INTERIOR CORNERS TO FACILITATE A MORE PEDESTRIAN
 FRIENDLY PATH.
  
 5) PLEASE PROVIDE A PLAN THAT SHOWS JUST THE FENCES AND
 GATES AND HOW THE VARIOUS PORTIONS OF THE CAMPUS WILL
 BE SECURED DURING SCHOOL AND NOT SCHOOL HOURS (THIS
 INCLUDES THE TUXEDO AND COCOANUT ROWS). THE PLAN SHALL
 DEMONSTRATE HOW THE OPEN GATES WILL NOT ENCROACH INTO
 THE ROW. IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION NO. 376-10,
 PLEASE PROVIDE HOW PEDESTRIANS AND BICYCLISTS CAN
 ACCESS THE LIMITED STREET CLOSURE AREA ROADWAYS WHEN
 THEY ARE CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC? PLEASE REMEMBER
 THAT PBDA AGREED TO NOT GATE THE DRIVE BETWEEN THE PITT
 AND UNITY BUILDINGS SO AS TO CONTINUE TO PERMIT
 NEIGHBOR VEHICULAR ACCESS THROUGH THE SITE WHEN SCHOOL
 IS NOT IN SESSION.
  
 6) DESIGNATE WHERE EACH FENCE TYPE WILL BE LOCATED. THE
 ALUMINUM FENCES AND GATES NEED TO PROVIDE THE HEIGHT ON
 THE DETAIL PLANS.
  
 7) WALLS WITHIN THE FRONT 25 FOOT SETBACK FROM FLAGLER
 DRIVE MAY NOT EXCEED FOUR (4) FEET IN HEIGHT, MEASURED
 FROM THE EXTERIOR GRADE AT THE PROPERTY LINE AT FLAGLER
 DRIVE. THE WALL IS SHOWN AS HIGH AS 7.5 FEET IN HEIGHT
 ABOVE THE GRADE INSIDE THE WALL, WHICH IS TOO HIGH, AND
 INCREASES THREE (3) FEET IN HEIGHT WHEN MEASURED AT
 FLAGLER DRIVE. THE HIGHEST POINT OF THE WALL
 ESTABLISHES ITS HEIGHT.
  
 8) THE SITE DATA CHART SHALL REFERENCE RESOLUTION NO.
 144-11, NOT ORDINANCE NO. 4303-10, AS IT IS THE LATEST
 LEGISLATION FOR THE SITE. THE REQUIRED SETBACKS FOR THE
 RELOCATED BUILDING SHALL REFLECT THE APPROVED SETBACKS
 OF FRONT - FIVE FEET AND CORNER SITE - 17 FEET.
  
 9) THE PITT BUILDING SETBACKS ARE LESS THAN THE
 SETBACKS LISTED ON THE FORMAL SITE PLAN APPROVED PLANS.
  
 10) PROVIDE WRITTEN VERIFICATION FROM THE CITY'S
 ENGINEERING SERVICES DIVISION THAT THE 4-SQUARE AND
 OTHER ITEMS APPLIED TO THE LIMITED CLOSURE SURFACE ARE
 PERMITTED BY ROADWAY STANDARDS.
  
 11) THE APPROVED FORMAL SITE PLAN REQUIRES A SIX (6)
 FOOT PODOCARPUS HEDGE (AT INSTALLATION) ALONG COCOANUT
 LANE TO SCREEN THE BUS PARKING.
  
 12) WHERE IS THE BUS PARKING IN THE INTERIM PLAN? HOW
 WILL THE BUS PARKING BE SCREENED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 RESOLUTION NO. 144-11?
  
 13) HOW DOES THE ADA PARKING WORK IN THE INTERIM PLAN?
 THIS REQUIRES WRITTEN CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DIVISION
 APPROVAL.
  
 14) HOW DOES THE LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION WORK ON THE
 INTERIM PLAN? IT NEEDS TO COMPLY WITH THE CITY'S
 LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 15) HOW THE EXISTING SIDEWALK ON INTERIM PLAN TIES INTO
 THE NEW SIDEWALK NETWORK NEEDS TO BE SHOWN.
  
 16) PROVIDE THE HEIGHT OF THE BOAT MAST AND THE BOAT'S
 SETBACK FROM THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE.
  
 17) PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE INTERPRETATIVE SIGN AND THE
 WIND SCULPTURE WHICH ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE FRONT
 SETBACK.
  
 18) VERIFY THAT THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE GATE OPENING IS
 A MINIMUM OF 12.5 FEET WIDE.
  
 19) THE DIMENSION TAGS ON THE PARKING STALL DETAILS ARE
 UNREADABLE. PLEASE INCREASE THE FONT SIZE.
  
 20) IS THE INTENT TO HAVE 18 FOOT DEEP PARKING SPACES
 WITH AN ADDITIONAL TWO (2) FOOT OVERHANG FOR THE
 VISITOR SPACES?
  
 21) PROVIDE DETAILS, WITH DIMENSIONS, FOR THE BICYCLE
 RACKS AND PADS. THE LAYOUT SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN DOES
 NOT SEEM COMPLY WITH THE DIMENSION SHOWN ON THE PLAN.
  
 22) THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHOWS FEATURES TO THE EAST OF
 THE BICYCLE RACK THAT ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN.
 WHAT ARE THESE?
  
 23) WHY ARE THERE AREAS TO THE NORTH OF THE EDUCATION
 BUILDING THAT DO NOT HAVE A LANDSCAPE BUFFER, AND IN
 FACT HAVE PAVING TO THE PROPERTY LINE?
  
 24) THE SHRUBS AROUND THE TRANSFORMER ARE NOT SHOWN AND
 DESIGNATED ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 25) IT APPEARS THAT THE FIRE HYDRANTS ALONG FLAGLER
 DRIVE ARE LOCATED WITHIN PLANTING BEDS. PLEASE VERIFY
 WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT THAT THE TYPES OF PLANTINGS
 ARE PERMITTED AROUND THE HYDRANTS.
  
 26) AN UPDATED LIGHTING PLAN IS REQUIRED WHICH CONFORMS
 TO THE NEW PEDESTRIAN PATH CONFIGURATION. PLEASE
 REMEMBER THE LIGHTING LEVELS MAY NOT EXCEED 0.5
 FOOTCANDLES AT THE RESIDENTIAL ZONING BOUNDARIES
 (INCLUDING THE PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING).
  
 27) THE PLANS AND ELEVATIONS SHOW SIGNAGE. PROVIDE
 SIGNAGE DETAILS SO STAFF MAY REVIEW FOR CODE
 COMPLIANCE. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT THE SIGN PERMITTING
 PROCESS GOES SMOOTHLY.
  
 28) THE CITY MEASURES THE HEIGHT OF STRUCTURES FROM THE
 FINISHED GRADE NOT THE FINISHED FLOOR. PLEASE PROVIDE
 THE HEIGHT DIMENSIONS BASED ON THIS STANDARD.
  
 29) PROVIDE A ROOF PLAN TO SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE NEW
 ROOFTOP MECHANICAL AREAS.
  
 30) THE MECHANICAL SCREEN WALL ELEVATION IS SHOWN AT
 130 FEET, YET THE TOP OF THE WALL IS ALSO 130 FEET.
 PLEASE CORRECT THE ELEVATIONS.
  
 31) PROVIDE FLOOR PLANS OF THE TWO NEW BUILDINGS THAT
 MATCH THE ELEVATIONS.
  
 32) WHY WERE THE HORIZONTAL SUN CONTROL AND LOUVER
 ELEMENTS REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING ELEVATIONS? NOT ONLY
 ARE THESE ELEMENTS FOUND ON THE EXISTING CLASSROOM
 BUILDING, BUT THEY WOULD GO A LONG WAY TO HELPING MAKE
 THE LARGE MECHANICAL SCREEN ENCLOSURES BLEND MORE WITH
 THE BUILDING ARCHITECTURE. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THESE
 ELEMENTS WERE PRESENTED TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AS PART OF
 THE ORIGINAL APPROVAL PROCESS TO GET THEIR SUPPORT IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION NO. 144-11. THE STONE AND
 TILE VENEER THAT HAVE BEEN REMOVED WERE ALSO PART OF
 THE PACKAGE PRESENTED TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND CITY
 COMMISSION.
  
 33) PLEASE REMEMBER THAT PER ORD. NO. 144-11, THE
 FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED PRIOR TO THE FIRST BUILDING
 PERMIT FOR THE NEXT PHASE:
  
 A. PROVIDE AN UPDATED TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN, APPROVED BY
 THE CITY'S TRAFFIC ENGINEER, WHICH INCLUDES THE
 LOCATIONS OF THE TRAFFIC DIRECTING PERSONNEL AND A
 WRITTEN NARRATIVE HOW THE TRAFFIC CONTROL OPERATIONS
 WILL FUNCTION FOR THE PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES. THE
 PROVIDED PLAN IS FOR THE CIRCULAR DRIVE AT THE PITT
 BUILDING.
  
 B. PREPARE A CONSTRUCTION SITE SECURITY AND MANAGEMENT
 PLAN FOR APPROVAL BY THE CITY'S POLICE DEPARTMENT CRIME
 PREVENTION THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN (CPTED)
 OFFICIAL.
  
 C. RECORD A PLAT FOR THE ENTIRE PBDA CAMPUS. PRIOR TO
 RECORDATION, THE PLAT SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW
 THROUGH THE MINOR SUBDIVISION PROCESS TO INCLUDE ALL
 REQUIRED EASEMENTS. THE RELOCATION AND/OR ABANDONMENT
 OF EASEMENTS WILL REQUIRE APPLICATIONS TO BE FILED WITH
 THE ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
  
 D. SUBMIT COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY PLANS TO THE FIRE
 DEPARTMENT FOR THEIR APPROVAL.
