 APPLICANT WILL BE ACCESSED A RESUBMITTAL FEE. SUCH FEE

 ADMINISTRATIVE
  
 1) THE CITY DOES NOT HAVE A RECORD OF THE PAYMENT FOR
 THE TREE ALTERATION PERMIT.
  
 2) THIS PROJECT WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET THE CITY?S ART
 IN PUBLIC PLACES REQUIREMENTS.
  
 3) THE PROJECT FACT SHEET SHALL INCLUDE THE ENTIRE
 CONVENTION CENTER PARCEL FOR THE PURPOSES OF AREA
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 4) STAFF HAS SPOKEN WITH RELATED REGARDING THE AREA
 SOUTH OF THE HOTEL LOADING ZONE THAT IS CURRENTLY NOT
 INCLUDED ON EITHER THE HOTEL SITE PLAN OR THIS SITE
 PLAN. RELATED HAS AGREED TO SUPPLY PLANS FOR THE
 MISSING PIECE ONCE THIS GARAGE APPLICATION IS APPROVED,
 SO THEY CAN INTEGRATE THEIR PLANS WITH THE APPROVED
 GARAGE DESIGN. RELATED HAS STATED THEY WILL CONSTRUCT
 THE LOADING AREA CHANGES IF THE GARAGE IS UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION BEFORE THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE HOTEL
 CONSTRUCTION. IF THE HOTEL IS COMPLETED AND THE GARAGE
 CONSTRUCTION HAS NOT BEGUN, THE LOADING ZONE
 MODIFICATION CONSTRUCTION WILL BE BORNE BY THE COUNTY
 AS PART OF THE GARAGE CONSTRUCTION. THIS CONDITION WILL
 APPLY TO BOTH APPROVALS.
  
 5) PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS ON HOW THE PROPOSED GARAGE
 COMPLIES WITH THE EXHIBIT D "ENERGY SAVING METHODS" OF
 THE CITYPLACE DRI.
  
 SITE PLAN
  
 6) THE SITE DATA TABLE NEEDS TO INCLUDE THE ENTIRE
 CONVENTION CENTER PARCEL. THE CITY CODE REQUIRED
 MINIMUM IMPERVIOUS SURFACE AREA AND LOT COVERAGE SHALL
 BE PROVIDED ACROSS THE ENTIRE SITE.
  
 7) THE CONFIGURATION OF FLORIDA AVENUE AT THE NORTHEAST
 CORNER ENTRANCE TO THE GARAGE ON SHEET AS000 DOES NOT
 MATCH THE REMAINDER OF THE PLANS SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW.
 THE MEDIAN IS SHOWN WITH A DIFFERENT CONFIGURATION.
  
 8) ONCE YOU HAVE DETERMINED THE FINAL MEDIAN
 CONFIGURATION, PLEASE PROVIDE TURNING RADIUS DRAWINGS
 AND VEHICULAR MOVEMENT PLANS FOR THIS AREA. THERE ARE A
 LOT OF TRAFFIC LANES THAT DO NOT APPEAR TO STAFF TO
 ALLOW FOR EFFICIENT, OR IN SOME CASES POSSIBLE TRAFFIC
 MOVEMENTS.
  
 A. WHY ARE THERE THREE LANES LEADING AROUND THE VALET
 CIRCLE?
 B. IS IT THE INTENT TO ALLOW DRIVERS TO ENTER THE NORTH
 SIDE OF THE GARAGE BY GOING THROUGH THE MEDIAN BREAK
 INSTEAD OF CIRCLING AROUND TO THE VALET?
 C. THERE ARE FIVE LANES THAT LEAVE THE SITE IMMEDIATELY
 ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER. HOW DO THESE CARS NEGOTIATE OUT
 OF THE SITE GIVEN THAT THERE ARE NOT FIVE TRAVEL LANES
 IN THE AREA?
 D. WHAT IS THE VALET ROUTE TO AND FROM THE GARAGE TO
 PARK CARS?
 E. HOW IS THE VALET TRAFFIC INTEGRATED OR KEPT SEPARATE
 FROM SELF-PARK TRAFFIC?
 F. WHERE ARE THE VALET PARKING SPACES?
 G. WHAT DESIGN FEATURES WILL CARS LEAVING THE BASEMENT
 LEVEL OF THE GARAGE FROM UNSAFE EXIT SPEEDS ONTO
 FLORIDA AVENUE.
  
 9) THE APPROVED PHASE 2 PLAN SHOWS APPROXIMATELY 110
 FEET OF THE FLORIDA AVENUE FRONTAGE INTERRUPTED BY
 VEHICULAR ACCESS POINTS. THE PROPOSED PLAN EXPANDS THIS
 TO APPROXIMATELY 140 FEET (NOT INCLUDING THE STABILIZED
 FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS). THERE HAS BEEN NO
 JUSTIFICATION PROVIDED TO CHANGE THE CONDITIONS OF THE
 CURRENT APPROVAL TO SUPPORT THIS ENLARGEMENT OF THE
 DRIVEWAYS ALONG THE FRONTAGE AREA.
  
 10) PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW VISITORS WILL KNOW TO GO TO THE
 NORTH GARAGE ENTRANCE OR THE CORNER GARAGE ENTRANCE.
  
 11) PROVIDE TURNING RADIUS DRAWINGS FOR THE CURVED
 AREAS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS. PLEASE VERIFY WITH
 THE CITY'S FIRE MARSHALL WHICH TRUCK SIZE IS
 APPROPRIATE TO USE FOR THE DRAWINGS.
  
 12) PROVIDE A CROSS SECTION, WITH ELEVATION MARKERS,
 FOR THE RAMPED DOWN ENTRY INTO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
 THE GARAGE. THE TRANSITION FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
 ACCESS SHALL BE SHOWN ON THIS CROSS SECTION.
  
 A. HOW IS THE EDGE OF THE ACCESS ROAD RETAINED?
 B. WHAT IS THE GRADE DIFFERENCE?
 C. IS BARRIER REQUIRED TO KEEP THE TRUCK FROM GOING OFF
 THE EDGE OF THE ACCESS ROAD?
  
 13) A SIDEWALK SHALL BE PROVIDED ON THE WEST SIDE OF
 FLORIDA AVENUE TO CONNECT THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF THE
 HOTEL TO THE EXISTING SIDEWALK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE
 TOWNHOUSES. THIS SIDEWALK SHALL INCLUDE APPROPRIATE
 PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING.
  
 14) PROVIDE A LIGHTING PLAN WHICH VERIFIES COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE CITY'S LIGHTING REGULATIONS. PLEASE NOTE THAT
 ALL LIGHT POLES AND FIXTURES IN THE ENTRY AREA SHALL
 MATCH THE STYLE BEING INSTALLED BY THE HOTEL.
  
 15) THE CITY DOES NOT PERMIT CHAIN LINK FENCES WITH
 SLATS IN THEM. IF THE GOAL OF THE FENCES AND GATES ON
 EITHER END OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS IS FOR
 SCREENING, A DIFFERENT OPTION NEEDS TO BE USED. FROM A
 SECURITY STANDPOINT, STAFF RECOMMENDS USING FENCING
 THAT HAS OPENINGS SO THAT THERE IS THE ABILITY TO SEE
 INTO THE GATED OFF AREA.
  
 16) THE CONVENTION CENTER MAY ONLY HAVE AN ELECTRONIC
 MESSAGE SIGN LOCATED ON A ROADWAY CLASSIFIED AS AN
 ARTERIAL OR EXPRESSWAY. FLORIDA AVENUE IS NEITHER OF
 THESE; THEREFORE THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE SIGN IS NOT
 PERMITTED AS SHOWN.
  
 17) THE DRI REQUIRES THE SUBMITTAL OF A SIGNAGE PROGRAM
 FOR ANY NEW SIGNS.
  
 18) THE STAFF HAS DETERMINED THAT THE CURRENT PLANS DO
 NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENT THAT ROOFTOP
 PARKING SPACES BE SCREENED. PLEASE PROVIDE INFORMATION
 ON HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE
 ACHIEVED.
  
 19) THE GARAGE PLAN SHEET AE140 CALLS OUT LEVELS 3-8.
 SHEET AE150 THE SHOWS AN ADDITIONAL TOP LEVEL FOR A
 TOTAL OF 9 LEVELS. IT IS STAFF'S UNDERSTANDING THAT THE
 8TH LEVEL IS THE TOP LEVEL AS SHOWN IN THE ELEVATIONS.
 PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 20) ARE LEVELS 3-8 MISSING A DOWN ARROW FOR A RAMP?
  
 21) THE PARKING STALL DETAIL SHALL SHOW WHITE STRIPING
 TO COMPLY WITH CITY REQUIREMENTS.
  
 22) PROVIDE A TABLE SHOWING THE REQUIRED AND PROVIDED
 BICYCLE PARKING.
  
 23) THE CITY DOES NOT PERMIT THE WAVE STYLE BICYCLE
 RACK. PROVIDE CITY COMPLIANT BICYCLE RACK AND PAD
 DETAILS AND SHOW THE PAD DIMENSIONS ON THE PLAN.
  
 24) PLEASE SHOW HOW SOMEONE UTILIZING THE BICYCLE RACK
 ON THE BASEMENT LEVEL OF THE GARAGE GETS TO THE
 ENTRANCE OF THE CONVENTION CENTER.
  
 25) PLEASE ELABORATE ON WHAT THE UTILITY ROOMS AND THE
 OFFICES WILL BE USED FOR AND WHO WILL USE THEM.
  
 26) THERE ARE PAYMENT STATIONS SHOWN IN THE GARAGE.
 WILL THE GARAGE BE UNMANNED?
  
 27) THE STAIRWELL THAT LEADS TO THE PAY STATION ON THE
 BASEMENT LEVEL IN NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE GARAGE LEADS
 TO A SIDEWALK THAT DEAD ENDS INTO THE DRIVE AISLE. THIS
 SIDEWALK HAS TO CONNECT INTO A SIDEWALK SO PEOPLE ARE
 NOT FORCED INTO THE DRIVE AISLE.
  
 28) THERE APPEAR TO BE SOME PARKING SPACES THAT ARE
 ADJACENT TO WALLS WITHOUT PROVIDING THE REQUIRED ONE
 (1) FOOT ADDITIONAL SEPARATION (COMPACT SPACES IN
 MIDDLE ROWS IN BASEMENT). IS THIS AN ACCURATE READING
 OF THE PLANS BY STAFF? IF THERE IS A WALL, PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE DIMENSION LINE TO VERIFY THE ONE (1) FOOT
 SETBACK.
  
 29) PROVIDE DIMENSION LINES FOR THE PARKING ROWS AND
 DRIVE AISLES IN THE GARAGE.
  
 30) HOW ARE PATRONS RESTRICTED FROM USING THE DOORS TO
 THE STAIRWELLS ON THE EAST, SOUTH AND WEST SIDES OF THE
 BUILDING, ESPECIALLY SINCE THESE EXIT OUT BEHIND THE
 FENCES TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS ROAD?
  
 31) THE EVENT STAGING AREA SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE
 WESTERN GARAGE EXIT LANES BY A LANDSCAPE BUFFER AND IT
 SHALL BE BROKEN UP BY THE PLACEMENT OF INTERNAL
 LANDSCAPE. THE BUFFER WILL SERVE TO VISUALLY SCREEN THE
 STAGING AREA FROM THE GARAGE PATRONS. ADDITIONALLY THE
 BUFFER AND THE INTERNAL LANDSCAPE WILL BREAK UP THE
 LARGE EXPANSE OF PAVING AT THE STAGING AREA IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE DRI REQUIREMENT TO "REDUCE COVERAGE
 BY ASPHALT, CONCRETE, ROCK, AND SIMILAR SUBSTANCES IN
 STREETS, PARKING LOTS, AND OTHER AREAS TO REDUCE LOCAL
 AIR TEMPERATURES AND REFLECT LIGHT AND HEAT."
  
 32) THE STAGING AREA SHALL BE SCREENED FROM THE
 CONVENTION CENTER ENTRANCE AT ITS NORTHEAST CORNER.
  
 LANDSCAPE
  
 33) ALL LIGHT POLES SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN. THE LIGHT POLES SHALL NOT INTERFERE WITH THE
 LANDSCAPE GROWTH.
  
 34) THE APPROVED PLAN REQUIRES PLANTER BOXES 42 INCHES
 ABOVE EACH PARKING DECK TO BREAK UP THE FA?ADE OF THE
 GARAGE. PLEASE PROVIDE JUSTIFICATION AS TO WHY NOT
 PROVIDING THE PLANTER BOXES IS NOT A CHANGED CONDITION
 OF APPROVAL, WHICH WOULD NECESSITATE A REVIEW OF THE
 GARAGE BY THE CITY COMMISSION.
  
 35) LANDSCAPE MATERIAL LISTED UNDER THE "SHRUB" PORTION
 OF THE LANDSCAPE TABLE MAY NOT BE COUNTED TO MEET THE
 TREE REQUIREMENTS ON THE SITE.
  
 36) PROVIDE JUSTIFICATION FOR COUNTING THE BAMBOO AS A
 2:1 TREE REPLACEMENT.
  
 37) PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY 35% OF THE REQUIRED SHADE
 TREES MAY BE SUBSTITUTED BY PALMS (AND POTENTIALLY
 BAMBOO). PROVIDE A VERIFICATION TABLE.
  
 38) THE EAST PROPERTY LENGTH LISTED IN THE TABLE DOES
 NOT INCLUDE THE ENTIRE EAST PROPERTY LINE DIMENSION.
 THIS WILL CHANGE THE NUMBER OF REQUIRED TREES.
  
 39) THERE ARE TREES THAT APPEAR EXTREMELY CLOSE TO
 UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE FACILITIES, ESPECIALLY IN THE
 SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SITE. PLEASE VERIFY THAT THERE
 WILL BE NO DISRUPTION OF THESE LINES. NOTE: THE ROOT
 BARRIERS SHOWN ON THE DETAIL SHEET ONLY SEEM TO BE
 PLANNED TO PROTECT SIDEWALKS.
  
 40) THE CONVENTION CENTER HAS NOT MAINTAINED ITS
 PARKING LOT TREES SINCE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY INSTALLED
 AS EVIDENCED BY THE MANY PARKING LOT ISLANDS WITHOUT
 TREES. THESE MISSING TREES ARE STILL REQUIRED TO BE
 MITIGATED AS PART OF THE TREE ALTERATION PERMIT. A
 TABLE VERIFYING THAT ALL OF THE REMOVED TREES HAVE BEEN
 MITIGATED IS REQUIRED AS PART OF THE TREE ALTERATION
 PERMIT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WAS NOT INFORMATION
 PROVIDED AS TO THE CANOPY SIZE OF ANY OF THE TREES
 PROPOSED FOR REMOVAL. DO ANY OF THESE TREES HAVE
 GREATER THAN 35 FEET OF CANOPY?
  
 ELEVATION
  
 41) STAFF WILL WAIT TO COMPLETE A FULL REVIEW UNTIL THE
 FINAL ELEVATIONS THAT INCORPORATE THE NEIGHBORHOOD
 COMMENTS ARE PROVIDED.
  
 42) PROVIDE SECTION DRAWINGS TO SHOW HOW THE CAR
 HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT SHINE OUT OF THE GARAGE.
  
 43) PROVIDE SECTION DRAWINGS TO DETAIL HOW THE VARIOUS
 APPLIED METAL PANELS, PILASTERS, ALUMINUM TUBES,
 RECESSED OPENINGS, ETC. INTERACT ALONG THE FACE OF THE
 BUILDING. THESE SHALL PROVIDE VARYING AMOUNTS OF DEPTH
 AND SHADOWS.
  
 44) PROVIDE A LINE OF SIGHT DRAWINGNORTH ALONG GEORGIA
 AVENUE FROM SOUTH OF O STREET.
  
 45) PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE CANOPIES AND OTHER ROOF
 COVERINGS THAT CONNECT THE CONVENTION CENTER TO THE
