 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN
 FORMAT.
  
 SITE PLAN
  
 1.) PLEASE CHECK THE CALCULATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 GROSS BUILDING, FLOOR AREA RATIO, BUILDING AREA LOT
 COVERAGE. THE NUMBERS/CALCULATIONS SEEM TO BE
 INCORRECT.
  
 2.) CLARITY NEEDS TO BE PROVIDED TO THE "EXISTING"
 SQUARE FOOTAGE AND THE "PROPOSED" SQUARE FOOTAGE.
  
 3.) BASED ON STAFF'S CALCULATIONS, A MINIMUM OF 989
 SHARED PARKING SPACES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE SHOPPING
 CENTER. PLEASE ILLUSTRATE HOW THIS PARKING REQUIREMENT
 WILL BE MET ON THE PROPERTY. (NOTE: THE SURVEY SHOWS A
 TOTAL OF 974 PARKING SPACES ARE PROVIDED ON THE
 PROPERTY).
  
 4.) THE NOTE REGARDING THE 50 PERCENT REDUCTION IN
 RESTAURANT SHARED PARKING IS INCORRECT AND DOES NOT
 APPLY. PLEASE DELETE THE NOTE FROM THE TABLE AND REVISE
 THE CALCULATIONS ACCORDING TO THE CITY'S ZLDR PARKING
 REQUIREMENTS.
 THE 10.8% LANDSCAPE COVERAGE IS "PROPOSED" AND NOT
 "EXISTING."
  
 5.) CLARIFY THAT THE 1 PARKING SPACE PER 250 SQ. FT. IS
 THE PARKING REQUIREMENT FOR RETAIL USES.
  
 6.) REVIEW THE NUMBER OF HANDICAP PARKING SPACES
 PROVIDED ON THE PROPERTY. THERE SEEMS TO BE 27 SPACES
 PROVIDED AND NOT 25 SPACES AS NOTED IN THE DATA
 TABULAR.
  
 7.) CALCULATIONS FOR THE SHARED PARKING REQUIREMENT IS
 INACCURATE. PLEASE REVIEW AND CORRECT.
  
  
 LANDSCAPE PLAN:
  
 1.) CHECK ALL CALCULATIONS IN THE CODE COMPLIANCE
 TABLE. THE NUMBERS DO NOT ADD UP BASED ON INFORMATION
 PROVIDED IN THE EXISTING TREE PLAN AND THE PLANT LIST
 TABULAR.
  
 2.) PLEASE SHOW/CLARIFY HOW THE 325 REQUIRED TREES HAD
 BEEN DETERMINED IN THE CALCULATIONS.
  
 3.) A 5 FT. WIDE BUFFER STRIP SHALL BE PROVIDED ALONG
 THE ENTIRE EDGE OF THE PROPERTY. AT LEAST ONE (1) SHADE
 OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE PLANTED IN THE REQUIRED
 BUFFER STRIP FOR EACH LINEAR FEET; A HEDGE SHALL BE
 PLANTED AT 2 FT. INTERVALS. [ZLDR S.94-443, TABLE XIV]
  
 4.) ALL REQUIRED SHADE AND FLOWERING TREES SHALL
 POSSESS A MINIMUM OF 5 FT. OF CLEAR TRUNK SPACE. [ZLDR
 S.94-445(4)(A)]
  
 5.) THE LANDSCAPE PLAN DOES NOT MATCH THE CHANGES MADE
 TO THE SITE PLAN. THE NEW TRASH COMPACTOR AND LOADING
 ZONE ARE MISSING. PLEASE ADD THESE FEATURES TO MATCH
 THE SITE PLAN.
  
 6.) THE TRASH COMPACTOR SHALL BE SCREENED FROM VIEW.
 SCREENING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF BRICK, DECORATIVE
 CONCRETE, OTHER DECORATIVE MASONRY, OR COMPARABLY
 DURABLE WOOD OR STEEL. WALLS SHALL BE LANDSCAPED WITH
 SHRUBS AND HEDGES AT 2 FT. INTERVALS. [ZLDR

 7.) ADD VISIBILITY TRIANGLES IN ACCORDANCE WITH ZLDR S.
 94-305(E) AT ALL ACCESS POINTS. [REPEAT COMMENT]
  
 OTHER NOTES:
  
 1.) PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OF ANY TREES ON THE PROPERTY,
 THE APPLICANT SHALL APPLY FOR AND OBTAIN A TREE
 ALTERATION PERMIT FROM THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
 DEPARTMENT - PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 RESUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS:
  
 * WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF SIX
 (6) PAPER COPIES, ONE (1) REDUCED COPY IN 8 1/2 INCHES
 X 11 INCHES AND ONE (1) SET IN 11 INCHES X 17 INCHES,
 AND AN ELECTRONIC COPY OF ALL PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT
 CHANGES ON THE RESUBMITTED PLANS MAY RESULT IN
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.

 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
