| | 2. SEWAGE DEMAND CALCULATIONS WILL NEED TO BE PROVIDED |
| | AS PART OF THE FINAL DESIGN. THE 8-INCH GRAVITY SEWER |
| | LINE MAY NOT BE SUFFICIENT FOR THE PROPOSED DEMAND AND |
| | MAY NEED TO BE UPGRADED. RECENT INSPECTIONS OF THE |
| | 8-INCH LINE INDICATE THAT IT IS NOT IN ACCEPTABLE |
| | CONDITION TO CONVEY ADDITIONAL FLOWS AND POSSIBLY MAY |
| | NOT WITHSTAND THE PROPOSED NEARBY SUBSURFACE |
| | CONSTRUCTION. |

| | 3. THE AVAILABLE WATER PRESSURE WITHIN THE CITY MAY NOT |
| | BE ACCEPTABLE AT ELEVATIONS HIGHER THAN THE 2ND FLOOR. |
| | WE RECOMMEND THAT A LONG-TERM PRESSURE STUDY BE |
| | PERFORMED ON THE POTABLE WATER LINES PRIOR TO |
| | FINALIZATION OF THE DESIGN. |
| | |
| | 4. SOLID WASTE YARDAGE WILL NEED TO BE ESTIMATED AS |
| | PART OF THE FINAL DESIGN TO VERIFY THAT THE DESIGN |
| | INCLUDES APPROPRIATE NUMBER AND SIZE OF TRASH BINS. |

| | 5. AN EXISTING SOLID WASTE CUSTOMER IS LOCATED ON THE |
| | ALLEY EAST OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT. THE FINAL PLANS |
| | WILL NEED TO INCLUDE A PROPOSAL FOR CONTINUING THEIR |
| | SOLID WASTE SERVICE DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE ALLEY END |
| | WEST OF THE RAILROAD LINE AND THERE IS NOT CURRENTLY A |
| | PAVED OR STABILIZED TURNAROUND. |

| | 6. STORMWATER CALCULATIONS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED AS |
| | PART OF THE ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL. IN |
| | ADDITION TO DEMONSTRATING THAT THE REQUIRED FLOOD |
| | PROTECTION AND WATER QUALITY TREATMENT IS PROVIDED, THE |
| | CALCULATION SHOULD INCLUDE THE PROPOSED PUMPED |
| | DISCHARGE FROM THE GARAGE, MOUNDING ANALYSIS FOR THE |
| | EXFILTRATION TRENCH, EVALUATION OF THE IMPACT (IF ANY) |
| | OF THE ROOF DRAIN VELOCITY INTO THE STORMWATER SYSTEM. |
