 COMMENTS:
  
 1. THIS REVIEW IS A CURSORY REVIEW AS IT RELATES TO THE
 SITE. IT IS NOT A REVIEW FOR FULL COMPLIANCE WITH
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE. THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE TO BE
 ADDRESSED FOR PERMITTING.
  
 2. NO ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES ARE CURRENTLY SHOWN.
 PER THE FAIR HOUSING ACT, AT LEAST 2% OF THE PARKING
 SPACES PROVIDED FOR THE DWELLING UNITS MUST BE
 ACCESSIBLE. ALSO, ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES SERVING THE
 NON-RESIDENTIAL AREAS OF THE BUILDINGS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN NUMBERS SUFFICIENT TO COMPLY WITH SECTION
 208.2 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE,
  
 3. PER SECTION 208.3 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES ARE TO BE LOCATED ON THE
 SHORTEST POSSIBLE ROUTE OF TRAVEL FROM ADJACENT PARKING
 TO AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE FOR EACH
 BUILDING. THE DESIGN OF ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 502 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE
  
 4. PER SECTION 208.2.4 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE,
 ONE IN EVERY SIX ACCESSIBLE SPACES (AT LEAST ONE) IN A
 PARKING STRUCTURE, SHALL BE VAN ACCESSIBLE AND DESIGNED
 IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION OF 502 OF FLORIDA
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE (VERTICAL CLEARANCE NOT LESS THAN 98
 INCHES AT SPACE AND VEHICULAR ACCESS ROUTE)
  
 5. WHEN SUBMITTED FOR BUILDING PERMIT, THE PLANS SHALL
 SHOW THAT THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION FOR THE BUILDINGS
 WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HEIGHT, AREA AND
 OCCUPANCY LIMITATIONS IN CHAPTER 5 OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE
  
 6. WHEN SUBMITTED FOR BUILDING PERMIT, COMPLIANCE WITH
 ALL BUILDING SEPARATION, PERCENTAGE OF OPENINGS AND
 OPENING PROTECTIVE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTERS 6 AND 7 OF
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE SHALL BE VERIFIED.
  
 7. ENCLOSED PARKING GARAGES MUST HAVE EXHAUST SYSTEMS
 DESIGNED TO MINIMIZE NOISE LEVELS USING INLINE FAN
 SILENCERS OR OTHER APPROVED METHODS.
  
 8. THE NEW BUILDINGS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE
 EXISTING BUILDINGS BY FIRE WALLS DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 706 OF FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, OR THEY MUST
 BE CONSIDERED AS ADDITIONS AS COVERED BY CHAPTER 10 OF
 THE FLORIDA EXISTING BUILDING CODE.
  
 9. THE BRIDGES BETWEEN THE BUILDINGS AT LEVEL 5 AND
 LEVEL 6 SHALL BE DESIGNED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 3104 OF FLORIDA BUILDING CODE SUCH THAT THE BUILDINGS
 ARE CONSIDERED SEPARATE.
  
 10. SHEET A-4 SHOWS A LONG DEAD END CORRIDOR FROM THE
 RESIDENTIAL UNITS TO THE CLOSEST EXIT STAIR. PER
 SECTION 1018.4 OF FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, THE DEAD END
 CORRIDOR SHALL NOT EXCEED 50 FEET.
  
 11. IT IS NOTED THAT ELEVATOR LOBBIES ARE NOT SHOWN.
 THE BUILDING AND BUILDING SYSTEMS MUST MEET ONE OF THE
 EXCEPTIONS GIVEN IN SECTION 1018.4.1 OF FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE (SUCH AS ELEVATOR HOISTWAY
 PRESSURIZATION), IF ELEVATOR LOBBIES ARE NOT PROPOSED.
  
 12. IT IS NOTED THAT WIDENING OF THE ALLEY IS PROPOSED
 TO ACCOMODATE TWO-WAY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC. ON SHEET A-2,
 NO EXIT DISCHARGE DOOR IS YET SHOWN FOR THE STAIRWAY
 ADJACENT TO THE ALLEY, AND WHEN IT IS SHOWN THE EXIT
 DISCHARGE DOOR SHALL BE RECESSED SUCH THAT IT DOES NOT
 SWING INTO THE VEHICULAR TRAVEL LANE.
  
 13. ALL APPLICABLE PERMITS AND SUB-PERMITS MUST BE
 OBTAINED BEFORE COMMENCING THE WORK.
