 FIRE MARSHAL, BUREAU OF FIRE PREVENTION, WEST PALM
 BEACH FIRE RESCUE. 561-804-4709
  
 THIS REVIEW CAN ONLY BE CONSIDERED PRELIMINARY AS THE
 DRAWINGS THAT WERE REVIEWED WERE NOT COMPLETE.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS CAN BE EXPECTED WHEN FULL DRAWINGS
 ARE SUBMITTED FOR PERMIT.
  
 1. CONSTRUCTION, DEMOLITION, AND RENOVATION TO COMPLY
 WITH NFPA 241.
  
 2. SITE ACCESS AND EXIT POINTS ARE TO BE CLEARLY
 IDENTIFIED AND MAINTAINED FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES DURING
 ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
  
 3. TRASH AND DEBRIS IS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE
 DAILY OR MORE OFTEN TO REDUCE THE ACCUMULATION OF
 POTENTIAL LIFE AND FIRE SAFETY HAZARDS.
  
 4. THE HOTEL STRUCTURE SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA
 FIRE PREVENTION CODE, 2010 EDITION, INCLUDING BUT NOT
 LIMITED TO, CHAPTER 28, NEW HOTELS AND DORMITORIES.
  
 5. THE PARKING STRUCTURES SHALL COMPLY WITH NFPA 88A,
 PARKING STRUCTURES AND NFPA 101, THE LIFE SAFETY CODE,
 INCLUDING MORE SPECIFICALLY, CHAPTER 42 STORAGE
 OCCUPANCIES (PARKING STRUCTURES)
  
 6. THE SEPARATION AND OPENING PROTECTION BETWEEN THE
 PARKING GARAGE AND HOTEL SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPECIFIC AND MOST STRINGENT
 PROVISION REQUIREMENT OF EITHER CHAPTER.
  
 7. ALL VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL FIRE SEPARATIONS FOR
 THIS BUILDING SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AND
 INDICATED. ALL FIRE RATED OPENING PROTECTIONS (FIRE
 DOORS AND HARDWARE) SHALL BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AND
 INDICATED IN THE DOOR SCHEDULE.
  
 8. AN APPROVED SINGLE-STATION SMOKE ALARM SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN EVERY GUEST ROOM AND EVERY LIVING AREA AND
 SLEEPING ROOM WITHIN A GUEST SUITE.
  
 9. INTERIOR FINISH CLASSIFICATIONS FOR ALL WALLS AND
 CEILINGS SHALL BE CLEARLY INDICATED ON THE SUBMITTED
 BUILDING PERMIT PLAN.
  
 10. A NFPA 13 COMPLAINT FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND NFPA
 14 COMPLIANT WET STANDPIPE SYSTEM ARE REQUIRED FOR THE
 HOTEL AND PARKING GARAGE. SEPARATE SHOP DRAWINGS, ARE
 REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE
 FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU PRIOR TO ANY INSTALLATION.
  
 11. THE LOCATION OF THE FDC'S, FIRE DEPARTMENT CONTROL
 ROOM, ANNUNCIATOR PANEL, FIRE PUMP ROOM, AND FIRE
 LANES, SHALL BE DISCUSSED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED
 THROUGH THE COORDINATED EFFORTS AND MEETINGS WITH THE
 FIRE MARSHAL AND THE STAFF OF THE BUREAU OF FIRE
 PREVENTION.
  
 12. A MONITORED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS REQUIRED FOR THIS
 STRUCTURE. SEPARATE SHOP DRAWINGS, ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE FIRE PREVENTION
 BUREAU PRIOR TO ANY INSTALLATION.
  
 13. ALL EXIT DISCHARGE LOCATIONS SHALL BE CLEARLY
 ILLUSTRATED ON THE PLAN. TACTILE SIGN SHALL BE
 INSTALLED AT ALL EXIT DOORS. ALL DOORS THAT OPEN ONTO
 EXIT ACCESS CORRIDORS SHALL BE AT LEAST 20 MINUTE FIRE
 RATED AND BE EQUIPPED WITH SELF-CLOSING DEVICES THAT
 CAUSE THE DOOR TO POSITIVELY LATCH WHEN CLOSED. THIS
 REQUIREMENT SHALL BE CLEARLY INDICATED AND ILLUSTRATED
 ON THE DOOR SCHEDULE.
  
 14. ALL ILLUMINATED EXIT SIGNS AND EMERGENCY LIGHTING
 EQUIPMENT SHALL BE ILLUSTRATED ON THE PLAN.
  
 15. IN THE PARKING GARAGE, THE EXIT DOORS OF THE EAST
 STAIRWELL ON THE 2ND AND 3RD LEVEL SHALL SWING IN THE
 DIRECTION OF EGRESS.
  
 16. IN THE HOTEL ON THE 2ND FLOOR, AT THE END OF THE NE
 CORRIDOR, AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS, THE EXIT DOOR SHALL
 SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF EGRESS.
  
 17. ALL KITCHEN EQUIPMENT AND OPERATIONS SHALL BE
 INDICATED AND LOCATED ON THE SUBMITTED PLAN AND COMPLY
 WITH NFPA 96, STANDARD FOR VENTILATION CONTROL AND FIRE
 PROTECTION OF COMMERCIAL COOKING OPERATIONS.
  
 18. ALL BACK OF HOUSE EQUIPMENT AND OPERATIONS SHALL BE
 INDICATED ON THE SUBMITTED PLANS.
  
 19. ALL EXERCISE EQUIPMENT CONTAINED WITHIN THE FITNESS
 CENTER SHALL BE INDICATED ON THE SUBMITTED PLANS.
  
 20. BUILDING ADDRESSES ARE REQUIRED ON THE BUILDING.
 THE ADDRESS IS TO BE A MINIMUM OF AT LEAST 6" HIGH AND
 CONTRAST TO THE BACKGROUND THAT THEY ARE AFFIXED.
  
 21. FLAME SPREAD DETAILS ON ALL FOAM BACKED STUCCO TRIM
 PLANNED FOR BUILDING SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR AND/OR
 IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED ON THE PLAN.
  
 22. ALL PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS LOCATIONS SHALL BE
 CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AND INDICATED ON THE PLAN.
  
 23. COMPLETE LIFE SAFETY PLANS FOR THE BUILDING SHALL
 BE PROVIDED THAT ILLUSTRATE OCCUPANT LOADS, TRAVEL
 DISTANCES, DEAD-END CORRIDORS AND ALL FIRE SAFETY
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 24. THE FIRE RATING OF ALL SHAFTS SHALL BE CLEARLY
 INDICATED ON THE BUILDING PLAN.
  
 25. REQUIRED FIRE SEPARATIONS BETWEEN EACH APARTMENT
 AND/OR TENANT SHALL BE CLEARLY INDICATED AND
 ILLUSTRATED ON THE BUILDING PLAN.
  
 26. REQUIRED CORRIDOR FIRE RATING SHALL BE CLEARLY
 INDICATED AND ILLUSTRATED ON THE BUILDING PLAN.
  
 27. TEMPORARY STANDPIPES ARE REQUIRED WHEN THE BUILDING
 REACHES THREE LEVELS OR THIRTY FEET WHILE BEING
