 - PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE PLANNING DIVISION HAS NOT
 RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO THE COMMENTS WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM

 SHALL BE CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN. ANY FURTHER ACTION SHALL
 REQUIRE A NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION.
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE PERMITTED ONE (1)
 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
 COMMENTS CONTINUE TO NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED, THE
 APPLICANT WILL BE ACCESSED A RESUBMITTAL FEE. SUCH FEE
 WILL BE 20% OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION FEE ($60).
  
 - PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSES.
  
 1) PLEASE SUBMIT ALL DRAWINGS IN .PDF FORMAT.
  
 2) PROVIDE THE DETAILS OF THE METAL AWNING. YOU MAY USE
 THE DETAILS FROM THE BUILDING PERMIT AS STAFF HAS
 REVIEWED THE PERMIT AND THE METAL AWNING IS ACCEPTABLE.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SIGN MAY NOT BE INSTALLED ON TOP
 OF THE METAL AWNING, BUT IT MAY ONLY BE MOUNTED TO THE
 BUILDING FACADE OR THE AWNING VALANCE. THE SIGN
 DIMENSIONS AND SQUARE FOOTAGE SHALL ALSO BE PROVIDED AS
 THE SIGN LOCATION WAIVER IS PART OF THE MINOR AMENDMENT
 APPLICATION.
  
 3) THE NEW SIDEWALK, AS PROPOSED, ON THE EAST SIDE OF
 THE BUILDING INCLUDING THE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 DISABLED PARKING SPACES, IS NOT APPROVED.
  
 A. PROVIDE FULL, TO SCALE, DETAILS ON HOW THE SIDEWALK
 WILL FUNCTION, INCLUDING DIMENSIONS.
 B. PROVIDE PLANS SHOWING A FULLY COMPLIANT ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTE, WITH DIMENSIONS. THE BUILDING PLANS REVIEWER,
 JIM WITMER, HAS STATED THAT THE MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL
 BE A MINIMUM OF 44 INCHES, NOT 36 INCHES AS PROVIDED.
 C. MR. WITMER HAS DETERMINED THAT THE WIDTH OF THE
 SIDEWALK, PARTICULARLY BETWEEN THE TRANSFORMERS AND AT
 THE STAIRS, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THE
 OCCUPANT LOAD THAT WILL BE EXITING THE DOORS IN THE
 EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY BASED ON THE PROPOSED BUILDING
 USERS. PLEASE REFER TO BUILDING PERMIT NOS. 13010720
 AND 13030406 FOR FURTHER ELABORATION ON MR. WITMER?S
 CONCERNS.
  
 4) PLANNING STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT THE WALK BE A MINIMUM
 OF SIX (6) FEET IN WIDTH TO ALLOW ADEQUATE ROOM FOR TWO
 PEOPLE WITH BAGS CONTAINING WORKOUT GEAR TO PASS EACH
 OTHER WITHOUT FORCING ONE OF THE PEOPLE INTO THE
 VEHICLE TRAVEL LANE.
  
 5) PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS ON HOW THE WALKWAY WILL BE
 LIGHTED (MORE THAN JUST "LIT PER FBC 2010") AND WHAT
 ADDITIONAL SECURITY PROCEDURES WILL BE IN PLACE. THIS
 AREA IS ISOLATED AT NIGHT AND ON WEEKENDS WHEN THE
 OFFICE TOWER IS CLOSED WITH NO NATURAL SURVEILLANCE
 FROM INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF CITYPLACE.
  
 6) PLEASE NOTE THAT NOW THAT THE TRANSFORMER AREA IS A
 PUBLICLY ACCESSED AREA, PLEASE SHOW HOW THE MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT WILL BE SCREENED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 REQUIREMENT FROM THE CITYPLACE DRI THAT ALL GROUND
 LEVEL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
 TO SUCH ITEMS AS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE UTILITY SERVICE
 CONNECTIONS; HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING
 SYSTEMS; COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES; AND RELATED EQUIPMENT,
 SHALL BE SCREENED FROM PUBLIC VIEW THROUGH ANY
 COMBINATION OF LANDSCAPING, WALLS AND EQUIPMENT
 LOCATION.
