 PLEASE PROVIDE A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE FOLLOWING
 REVIEW COMMENTS:
  
 1. IT WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION TO STAFF THAT PUBLIC
 BUILDINGS THAT ENTERED INTO DESIGN AFTER JULY 1, 2008,
 ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES OF LEED OR OTHER
 GREEN BUILDING RATING SYSTEMS, INCLUDING GREEN GLOBES
 AND THE FLORIDA GREEN BUILDING COALITION STANDARDS. I
 BELIEVE THIS WAS SIGNED INTO LAW AS PART OF HB 7135.
 PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION FROM THE ARCHITECT OF
 RECORD INDICATING THAT THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
 COMPLIES WITH SUCH PROVISIONS.
  
 2. TWO (2) COPIES OF AN APPROVED TRAFFIC CONCURRENCY
 LETTER SHALL BE PROVIDED FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY.
  
 3. PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES FROM ALL UTILITY COMPANIES
 INDICATING THE AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE, AND THAT THE
 PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WILL NOT IMPEDE INTO ANY EXISTING
 SERVICES/FACILITIES.
  
 4. PLEASE PROVIDE THE HEIGHT OF THE BUILDING AS
 MEASURED FROM GRADE TO THE MID-POINT OF THE ROOF OF THE
 APPARATUS BAY ROOF LANTERN. ADDITIONALLY, PROVIDE THE
 HEIGHT AS MEASURED FROM GRADE TO THE TOP OF THE TALLEST
 ELEMENT.
  
 5. PLEASE CONFIRM THAT ALL DIESEL FUEL TANKS, LP TANKS,
 AND POTABLE WATER STORAGE TANKS WILL BE LOCATED
 UNDERGROUND.
  
 6. ARE ANY AT-GRADE OR ROOF-MOUNTED SATELLITE DISHES
 PROPOSED AS PART THE COMMUNICATIONS/DATA SYSTEM?
  
 7. PLEASE PROVIDE A PHOTOMETRIC PLAN. LIGHTING SHALL BE
 ARRANGED TO REFLECT LIGHT AWAY FROM ALL ADJACENT
 RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES AND PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES.
 LIGHTING LEVELS SHALL NOT EXCEED 0.5 FOOTCANDLES WHEN
 MEASURED IN A RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT.
  
 8. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DIMENSION FROM THE PROPERTY LINE
 TO ALL FREESTANDING SIGNS; THE SETBACK SHALL BE A
 MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) FEET FROM THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
 AND 24 FEET FROM ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
  
 9. PLEASE PROVIDE THE PERCENTAGE OF PALM TREE
 SUBSTITUTION THAT IS BEING UTILIZED FOR THE PROJECT.
 PALM TREES MAY NOT BE SUBSTITUTED FOR MORE THAN 35
 PERCENT OF THE REQUIRED SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES
 REQUIRED.
  
 10. PLEASE NOTE ON THE LANDSCAPE PLANS THAT ANY
 LANDSCAPE AREA WITHIN THE ADJACENT RIGHT-OF-WAY SHALL
 BE SODDED AND IRRIGATED AS PART OF THE PROPOSED
 DEVELOPMENT.
  
 11. A SIDEWALK EASEMENT MAY BE REQUIRED (IF NOT ALREADY
 PROVIDED) FOR THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK ALONG HANK AARON
 DRIVE.
  
 12. THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG THE RESIDENTIAL
 PROPERTY LINES IS REQUIRED TO BE LOCATED ON THE
 OPPOSITE OF THE WALL.
  
 13. TREES WITHIN THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG THE
 RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LINES SHALL BE A MAXIMUM OF 30
 FEET APART. IT APPEARS THAT SOME TREES ARE SPACED AT A
 GREATER DISTANCE.
  
 14. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN DOES NOT APPEAR TO MATCH THE
 SITE PLAN. THE SITE PLAN SHOWS PARKING ALONG HANK AARON
 DRIVE AS HAVING A 2 FOOT OVERHANG INTO THE LANDSCAPE
 BUFFER (WITHOUT WHEEL STOPS), WHILE THE LANDSCAPE PLAN
 SHOWS WHEEL STOP WITH NO ENCROACHMENT. THE SAME IS TRUE
 FOR PARKING ALONG CONGRESS AVENUE. PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 15. IF NOT USING WHEEL STOPS, THE 2 FOOT OVERHANG FOR
 THE MEDIA VAN PARKING SPACES CANNOT ENCROACH INTO THE
 REQUIRED 5 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG HANK AARON
 DRIVE.
  
 16. LOW FREESTANDING SIGNS ARE LIMITED TO ONE (1) SIGN
 PER BUSINESS?.THE SITE PLAN INDICATES THE PLACEMENT OF
 THREE (3) SIGNS.
  
 17. BIKE RACKS SHALL MEET THE MINIMUM DESIGN STANDARDS
 APPROVED BY THE CITY. PLEASE REFER TO ATTACHED
 MATERIALS AND UPDATE THE DETAIL ACCORDINGLY. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT BICYCLE PARKING SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR A
 MINIMUM OF THREE (3) BICYCLES.
  
 18. THE BUILDING SQUARE FOOTAGES SHOWN FOR THE PARKING
 CALCULATIONS DIFFER BETWEEN SHEET SP-1 AND A-0.01.
 PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 19. PLEASE CLARIFY THE DOORWAY THAT EXITS THE MIS ROOM
 ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND ENTERS INTO THE APPARATUS BAY.
  
 20. HOW IS ACCESS GAINED FROM CONGRESS AVENUE INTO THE
 FIRE STATION STAFF PARKING? IS THERE A CARD READER OR
 IS EACH STAFF MEMBER EQUIPPED WITH AN OPENER? PLEASE
 CLARIFY.

 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
  
 D) IF NO RESPONSE IS RECEIVED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE
 ISSUANCE OF THESE COMMENTS, THE APPLICATION WILL BE
 CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN AND ANY FURTHER ACTION WILL
 REQUIRE SUBMISSION OF A NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION.
  
 E) PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE PERMITTED ONE (1)
 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
 COMMENTS CONTINUE TO NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED, THE
