 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. THE PROPOSED LIVE OAKS ALONG THE WEST PERIMETER OF
 THE SITE WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE CANOPY AND
 ROOT SYSTEM TO DEVELOP. IN ADDITION, THE OAK TREE
 CLOSEST TO SOUTHERN BOULEVARD MUST BE 30 AWAY FROM ANY
 OVERHEAD LINES. PLEASE CONSIDER A DIFFERENT TREE
 SPECIES THAT HAS A SMALLER MATURE HEIGHT AND SPREAD.
  
 2. STAFF SUGGESTS THAT THE PROPOSED HEDGE IN FRONT OF
 THE NEWLY ACQUIRED BUILDING BE ELIMINATED. FOUNDATION
 PLANTING COMPOSED OF A TIERED PLANTING OF A HEDGE AND
 GROUND COVER SHOULD BE ADDED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING. THIS WILL ADD MORE DEPTH TO THE LANDSCAPE AS
 VIEWED FROM THE STREET. THE HEDGE BETWEEN THE ENTRY
 SIDEWALK AND ACCESS DRIVEWAY ON THAT SAME SIDE SHOULD
 BE MOVED BACK TO BE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE FIRST
 PARKING STALL THAT NEEDS TO BE BUFFERED.
  
 3. IN KEEPING WITH XERISCAPE PRINCIPLES, THE TRIANGULAR
 AREAS AT THE HEAD OF THE PARKING STALLS AND OTHER SMALL
 PLANTING AREAS SHOULD BE PLANTED WITH GROUND COVER
 INSTEAD OF SOD. THIS WILL REDUCE THE CONSTANT NEED FOR
 WATER.
