 FOLLOWING THE PLANS AND PLATS REVIEW COMMITTEE REVIEW
 COMMENTS, IF NO RESPONSE TO THE COMMENTS IS RECEIVED
 WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THEIR ISSUANCE, THE APPLICATION WILL
 BE CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN AND ANY FURTHER ACTION WILL
 REQUIRE SUBMISSION OF A NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION.
  
 RESUBMITTAL FEE: FOLLOWING THE PLANS AND PLATS REVIEW

 COMPUTATION OF SIGN AREA FOR SIGNS WHICH CONSIST ONLY
 OF LETTERS AND NUMBERS WHICH ARE INDIVIDUALLY PAINTED
 ON OR OTHERWISE ATTACHED TO A BUILDING WALL, DECORATIVE
 LANDSCAPE WALL, SCREEN WALL, MARQUEE, OR CANOPY OR
 AWNING. THE AREA OF EACH FACE OF A SIGN WHICH CONSISTS
 ONLY OF LETTERS AND NUMBERS WHICH ARE INDIVIDUALLY
 PAINTED ON OR OTHERWISE ATTACHED TO A BUILDING WALL,
 DECORATIVE LANDSCAPE WALL, SCREEN WALL, MARQUEE,
 CANOPY, OR AWNING SHALL BE COMPUTED AS IN SUBSECTION
 (A) OF THIS SECTION. HOWEVER, THE MAXIMUM AREA OF SIGNS
 COVERED BY THIS SECTION SHALL BE 20 PERCENT LARGER THAN
 THE MAXIMUM AREA OTHERWISE PERMITTED BY THIS ARTICLE.

 PERIMETER OF THE BOTTOM 2' ("STRUCTURAL") AREA OF EACH
 HIGH FREE-STANDING SIGN.

 HIGH FREE-STANDING SIGN.

 BE CONSIDERED TO BE ONE SIGN FACE IF THE AREA OF SUCH
 SIGN FACE IS MEASURED AS ONLY ONE CIRCLE OR ONLY ONE
 TRIANGLE OR ONLY ONE PARALLELOGRAM, PROVIDED THAT THE
 AREA SO MEASURED CONFORMS TO THE MAXIMUM SIGN AREA
 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ARTICLE.

 RE-SUBMITTAL 1: SIGN WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FINAL
 APPROVED SIGNAGE FACE SIZE AND WILL NOT ALLOW ANY
 SIGNAGE ON THE ENTIRE BASE OF THE SIGN.
  
  
 SIGNS PERMITTED IN GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) AND AIRPORT
 COMMERCIAL (AC) DISTRICTS. SIGNS PERMITTED IN GENERAL
 COMMERCIAL (GC) AND AIRPORT COMMERCIAL (AC) DISTRICTS
 SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
  
 (3) HIGH FREESTANDING SIGNS. THE REQUIREMENTS FOR HIGH
 FREESTANDING SIGNS SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
  
 B. MAXIMUM SUM TOTAL AREA OF ALL HIGH FREESTANDING
 SIGNS ALONG FRONT STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LINES WHICH ARE
 NOT OPPOSITE RESIDENTIAL USES: ONE SQUARE FOOT FOR EACH
 ONE LINEAR FOOT OF FRONTAGE.
  
 RE-SUBMITTAL 1: THE SUM TOTAL AREA OF ALL FREE STANDING
 SIGNS ALONG EACH FRONT STREET CAN NOT BE COMBINED AND
 SHALL BE CONSIDERED UNDER SEPARATE CALCULATIONS: FOR
 EXAMPLE: SPENCER DRIVE HAS 532 LINEAR FEET OF FRONTAGE,
 THEREFORE, THE TOTAL SIGN FACE AREA WILL BE LIMITED TO
 532 SQUARE FEET ON SPENCER DRIVE AND OKEECHOBEE BLVD.
 HAS 1,350 LINEAR FEET OF FRONTAGE, THEREFORE, THE TOTAL
 SIGN FACE AREA WILL BE LIMITED TO 1,350 SQUARE FEET N
 OKEECHOBEE. REVISE PLANS AND DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING
 JUSTIFICATION STATEMENT REFLECTING CORRECT NUMBERS
 ACCORDINGLY.
  
 E. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ALL HIGH FREESTANDING SIGNS ON
 EACH STREET FRONTAGE: NO SIGNS FOR THE FIRST 75 LINEAR
 FEET OF STREET FRONTAGE; ONE SIGN FOR EACH ADDITIONAL
 75 FEET OR FRACTION THEREOF OF STREET FRONTAGE.
 FRONTAGE ON EACH STREET SHALL BE CONSIDERED SEPARATELY
 IN DETERMINING IF THIS REQUIREMENT IS MET.
  
 4. PROVIDE TWO (2) SIGNED AND SEALED COPIES OF THE
 SURVEY.
