 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORRMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE SUBMIT TWO (2) COPIES OF A LANDSCAPE PLAN
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SECTIONS 94-442 AND 94-445 OF
 THE ZLDR. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL BE SIGNED AND SEALED
 BY A REGISTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE
 XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-448 (D) (2), THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN SHALL CONTAIN ALL OF THE ELEMENTS ENUMERATED IN
 THIS SECTION.
  
 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-444 (B), OUTDOOR GARBAGE OR
 TRASH CONTAINERS AND ALL MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL NOT
 BE PERMITTED UNLESS APPROPRIATE SCREENING IS PROVIDED.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY THE LOCATION OF THESE ITEMS AND
 INDICATE THE MANNER IN WHICH SCREENING WILL BE
 PROVIDED.
  
 5. FOR THIS SITE TO CORRECTLY FUNCTION AND MEET MINIMUM
 REQUIREMENTS, CERTAIN AREAS OF ASPHALT WILL NEED TO BE
 REMOVED AND OTHER AREAS WILL NEED TO BE PAVED.
  
 6. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (5) (A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING FO THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS 'TYPE D'.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D) PRIVATE LAND AND
 PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK
 SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPED OPEN
 SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS
 SHALL BE SODDED. THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE ENTIRE SITE AND
 RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE, INCLUDING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY.
  
 9. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (E) (1), AT LEAST 30
 PERCENT OF THE LINEAR FEET AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF ALL
 COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES SHALL BE PLANTED WITH TREES,
 SHRUBS OR HEDGES. AT A MINIMUM, A LANDSCAPE STRIP SHALL
 BE CUT OUT ALONG THE NORTH BUILDING ELEVATION AND
 LANDSCAPED.
  
 10. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3) (A), EACH ROW OF
 PARKING SPACES SHALL BE TERMINATED BY LANDSCAPE ISLANDS
 OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE FEET IN WIDTH AND NOT LESS THAN
 THE LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT PARKING STALL. THE
 LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM RADIUS OF 2 1/2
 FEET AT ITS END SO AS TO ALLOW CAR MANEUVERING. THE
 LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREE.
  
 11.PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (1), FOR
 NONRESIDENTIAL USES, THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER STRIP SHALL
 BE AT LEAST FIVE FEET WIDE ALONG THE ENTIRE EDGE OF
 PROPERTY, WHEN ADJACENT TO A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE. THIS
 APPLIES TO THE WEST AND NORTH SIDES OF THE SITE. A
 HEDGE PLANTED ALONG THE INTERIOR PERIMETER OF THE
 LANDSCAPE SETBACK AND AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING
 TREE SHALL BE PLANTED IN A REQUIRED BUFFER STRIP FOR
 EACH 30 LINEAR FEET OR FRACTION THEREOF.
  
 12. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (A) (2) AT LEAST ONE
 SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE PLANTED IN A REQUIRED
 BUFFER FOR EACH 30 LINEAR FEET OR PORTION THEREOF
 WITHIN THE LANDSCAPE STRIP THAT BUFFERS A
 NONRESIDENTIAL USE THAT IS ADJACENT TO RESIDENTIAL
 PROPERTY. IN ADDITION, A REQUIRED HEDGE SHALL BE
 PLANTED WITH TWO-FOOT TO THREE-FOOT INTERVALS FOR THE
 LENGTH OF THE BUFFER.
  
 13. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (I), ALL PROHIBITED
 TREE SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE, INCLUDING THE
 AUSTRALIAN PINE THAT IS GROWING ALONG THE EAST
 PERIMETER OF THE SITE.
  
 14. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (K), FICUS SPECIES
 PLANTED WITHIN 15 FEET OF ANY STRUCTURE OR UTILITY
 SHALL BE PERMITTED ONLY IF THEY ARE CONTAINED IN A
 PLANTER OR MAINTAINED AS A HEDGE WHICH IS CONSTANTLY
 CULTIVATED AND DOES NOT EXCEED THE HEIGHT LIMITATIONS
 AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 94-302. THE FICUS TREES ALONG
 THE EAST PROPERTY LINE BEHIND THE BUILDING WERE PLANTED
 AS A HEDGE. THEY SHALL BE CUT BACK TO HEDGE HEIGHT OR
 REMOVED WITH A NEW HEDGE TO BE INSTALLED.
