 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. PLEASE DEMONSTRATE HOW YOU ARRIVED AT THE 44,625
 SQUARE FEET OF OPEN SPACE. THIS PARCEL IS FENCED OFF
 FROM UP THE GROVE LANE TO BEYOND THE EXISTING RETENTION
 AREA ALONG THE NORTH PERIMETER OF THE SITE. THE
 ORIGINAL SUBMITTAL ENCOMPASSED THE ENTIRE PARCEL, AS IT
 SHOULD. THE NEW SUBMITTAL SPLITS THE SITE WITH A
 PORTION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE NORTHERN PORTION OF
 THE SITE WHICH IS BEYOND THE LIMIT OF WORK. OPEN SPACE
 IS DETERMINED BY TAKING THE TOTAL LOT AREA AND
 DEDUCTING THE FOOTPRINT OF THE STRUCTURE. THE
 DIFFERENCE IS THE OPEN SPACE. THE OPEN SPACE SHOULD BE
 CALCULATED BASED UPON THE ENTIRE FENCED AREA. THE
 REQUIRED TREES AND SHRUBS SHOULD BE BASED UPON THAT
 FIGURE.
  
 2. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (1), FOR INDUSTRIAL
 USES AND USES IN INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS, THE LANDSCAPE
 BUFFER STRIP SHALL BE AT LEAST TEN FEET SIDE ALONG THE
 EDGE OF PROPERTY WHEN ADJACENT TO A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE
 AND OTHER NONRESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS. FOR ALL
 OTHER NONRESIDENTIAL USES, THE BUFFER STRIP SHALL BE AT
 LEAST FIVE FEET SIDE ALONG THE ENTIRE EDGE OF PROPERTY
 WHEN ADJACENT TO A PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE, AND WHEN
 ADJACENT TO NONRESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS. A FIVE
 FOOT BUFFER IS REQUIRED ALONG THE FULL LENGTH OF THE
 PARCEL ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE AND ALONG THE NORTH
 PERIMETER.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (4), AT LEAST ONE
 SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE PLANTED IN A REQUIRED
 BUFFER STRIP FOR EACH 30 LINEAR FEET OR PORTION ,
 THEREOF. THIS APPLIES TO THE EAST, WEST AND NORTH SIDES
 OF THE SITE.
  
 4. BASED UPON AN AGREEMENT MADE BETWEEN THE APPLICANT
 AND THE REVIEWER, THE ORIGINAL APPROVED LANDSCAPE PLAN
 HAD THE FOLLOWING NOTE THAT DOES NOT APPEAR ON THIS
 MOST RECENT PLAN: "A SIMPSON STOPPER HEDGE (MYRCIANTHES
 FRAGRANS) WILL BE PROVIDED ALONG MILITARY IN LIEU OF
 CONTINUOUS HEDGE ALONG WEST PERIMETER. PLANS WILL BE
 PROVIDED WHEN THE SURVEY IS AVAILABLE".
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D), PRIVATE LAND AND
 PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR SIDEWALK
 SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND LANDSCAPE OPEN
 SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH GRASS. GRASS AREAS
 SHALL BE SODDED. THIS SHALL ALSO APPLY TO THE NORTH
 HALF OF THE PARCEL. THE EXISTING ASPHALT PAVING WHICH
 SERVES NO PURPOSE SHALL BE REMOVED AND THAT AREA SHALL
 BE SODDED, AS WELL.
  
 6. A NOTE ON THE PLAN INDICATES THAT ALL LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH A FULLY AUTOMATIC
 IRRIGATION SYSTEM. THE NORTH PORTION OF THE SITE SHALL
 BE FULLY IRRIGATED.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-444 (B), OUTDOOR
 INCINERATORS, GARBAGE OR TRASH RECEPTACLES AND OTHER
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED UNLESS
 APPROPRIATE SCREENING HAS BEEN PROVIDED. THERE APPEARS
 TO BE GROUND LEVEL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND A
 TRANSFORMER ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PROPOSED BUILDING.
 THESE ITEMS SHALL BE SCREENED.
