 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1 REPEAT COMMENT: FIVE POINTS WERE TAKEN ON THE
 XERISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS FOR THE USE OF A MOISTURE
 SENSING CONTROLLER OTHER THAN A RAIN SWITCH BUT A RAIN
 SWITCH WAS PROPOSED. PLEASE CLARIFY BY INDICATING THE
 TYPE OF EQUIPMENT TO BE USED. YOU CANNOT TAKE CREDIT
 FOR A RAIN SWITCH.
  
 2. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (B) (4),
 AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE PLANTED
 IN THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE STRIP FOR EACH 30 LINEAR FEET
 OR PORTION THEREOF. THIS LANDSCAPE STRIP IS REQUIRED TO
 BUFFER NONRESIDENTIAL USES ADJACENT TO A PUBLIC
 THOROUGHFARE AND NONRESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT AND
 APPLIES TO THE NORTH, SOUTH AND EAST PERIMETER OF THE
 SITE. NO TREES ARE SHOWN ALONG THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF
 THE SITE, ADJACENT TO THE PARKING LOT. THE EXISTING
 HEDGE SHOULD BE MAINTAINED AT A HEIGHT NOT EXCEEDING
 SIX (6) FEET. IF BETWEEN FOUR (4) AND EIGHT (8)
 EXISTING SHRUBS WERE REMOVED, THERE WOULD BE ROOM TO
 PLANT THE TREES AT THE CORRECT SPACING.
  
 3. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3)
 (A), EACH ROW OF PARKING SPACES SHALL BE TERMINATED BY
 LANDSCAPED ISLANDS OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE FEET IN WIDTH
 AND NOT LESS THAN THE LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT PARKING
 STALL. THE LANDSCAPED ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE
 SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE. THERE ARE TWO (2) MISSING
 TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING (REAR).
  
 4. REPEAT COMMENT: THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO (2) CONFLICTS
 BETWEEN PROPOSED STREET LIGHTS AND TREES.
  
 5. REPEAT COMMENT: PLEASE SUBMIT TWO (2) REVISED SETS
 OF SIGNED AND SEALED PLANS FOR THE TREE ALTERATION
 PERMIT, ONCE THE LANDSCAPE PLANS HAVE BEEN APPROVED.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE TREE MITIGATION DETAILS. SHOW THE
 CALIPER INCHES OF TREES BEING REMOVED AND THE CALIPER
 INCHES OF TREES THAT WILL BE INSTALLED WITH THE NEW
 LANDSCAPING. IF THERE IS A SHORTAGE, ADDITIONAL TREES
 WILL NEED TO BE PLANTED ON SITE OR ELSEWHERE WITHIN THE
 CITY LIMITS.
  
 6. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE "EXISTING PLANT MATERIAL "
 LOCATED ALONG THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING.
  
 7. IF EXISTING TREE AND PLANT MATERIAL WILL REMAIN, IT
 MUST BE IN A HEALTHY CONDITION AND MEET ALL MINIMUM
 GRADE STANDARDS.
