 AFTER AN ON-SITE VISIT WITH MY SUPERVISOR TO THE MACK &
 SONS PROPERTY AT 28TH AND NORTH STREETS THE FOLLOWING
 CONCERNS AND QUESTIONS AROSE:
  
 1. THE EXISTING FENCE ALONG 27TH STREET IS 15 FEET HIGH
 NOT 6 FEET AS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. WAS A FENCE PERMIT
 EVER ISSUED?
  
  
 2. WE OBSERVED PILES OF DIRT BENEATH THE VEGETATION AND
 GROWTH OF WEEDS NEXT TO AND ALONG SIDE THE 15 FOOT
 FENCE THERE IN THE 27TH STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (ROW). IT
 HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE CITY HAS NOT MAINTAINED
 THE ROW; HOW THEN DID THESE EARTHWORK PILES GET THERE?
 ARE THEY A RESULT OF THE FENCE INSTALLATION?
  
 3. ANOTHER OBSERVATION MADE WAS THE MUD AND SILT
 EVIDENT ON NORTH STREET FROM THE TRAFFIC OF THE TRUCKS
 ENTERING AND EXITING THE PROPERTY. WHILE THE DRAWINGS
 DO INDICATE AN EXISTING 8 INCH LAYER OF CRUSHED
 CONCRETE UNDERBED PER CHAPTER 62-709FL EXISTS ON SITE,
 IT APPEARS TO BE INSUFFICIENT FOR DRAINAGE AS THE MUD
 IS NOT BEING PROPERLY CONTAINED ON SITE AS MENTIONED.
  
 4. THERE IS NO SIDEWALK EXISTING ON NORTH STREET,
 ALTHOUGH ONE IS SHOWN ON ALL 3 PLANS SUBMITTED TO DATE.
 APPROVAL FOR SITE DEVELOPMENT WOULD REQUIRE
 CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SIDEWALK PER CHAPTER 78, ARTICLE
 I, SEC.78-8.
  
 5. A FENCE CROSSING NORTH STREET AT 27TH STREET BLOCKS
 THE NORTH STREET ROW. IT IS NOT KNOWN WHO INSTALLED
 THIS FENCE. IS IT AN EXTENSION OF THE FENCE MENTIONED
 IN ITEM 1 ABOVE?
