 PLANS AND PLATS REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING 10/14/09
  
 - PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN
 WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 - WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF SIX
 (6) COPIES, ONE (1) REDUCED COPY (11??? X 17???), AND
 AN ELECTRONIC COPY IN .PNG FORMAT OF ALL PLANS. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT RE-SUBMITTALS MAY BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE PLANNING AND ZONING
 DEPARTMENT HAS NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO THE PPRC
 COMMENTS WITHIN 60 DAYS FROM THE PPRC MEETING, THE CASE
 SHALL BE CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN. ANY FURTHER ACTION SHALL
 REQUIRE RESUBMITTAL OF A NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE PERMITTED ONE (1)
 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
 COMMENTS CONTINUE TO NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED, THE
 APPLICANT WILL BE ACCESSED A RESUBMITTAL FEE. SUCH FEE
 WILL BE 20% OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION FEE.
  
 1) THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURES DO NOT CONFORM TO CITY OF
 WEST PALM BEACH MINIMUMS. PLEASE PROVIDE STANDARD
 DETAIL (PROVIDED DETAIL DOES NOT CONFORM TO WPB
 STANDARDS).
  
 2) NEED AN EASEMENT RELEASE FROM FPL TO PUT THE
 DUMPSTER PAD AND ENCLOSURE IN THE FPL EASEMENT.
  
 3) THE ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT SHALL APPROVE,
 IN WRITING, THE USE OF WHEEL STOPS 6 INCHES FROM THE
 EDGE OF PAVEMENT WITH THE 1.5 FOOT OVERHANG AS SHOWN.
 THE APPROVAL SHALL INCLUDE THAT THE PROPOSAL WILL
 PROVIDE ADEQUATE STRENGTH TO SECURE THE WHEEL STOPS
 WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE PAVING. PLEASE NOTE, IF THE
 ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT DOES NOT APPROVE THE
 PROPOSAL, THEN A TYPE "D" CURB IS REQUIRED.
  
 4) PROVIDE PARKING DETAILS FOR ALL OF THE PARKING
 CONFIGURATIONS USED ON THE PLAN. THERE ARE NO DETAILS
 PROVIDED FOR THE ANGLED HC SPACES.
  
 5) THE MAXIMUM FOOT CANDLES ALONG THE SOUTH PROPERTY
 LINE IS 0.5.
  
 6) THE BIKE RACK DETAIL DOES NOT CONFORM TO CITY
 STANDARDS - THE WAVE IS NOT ALLOWED. PLEASE CONTACT
 ALEX HANSEN AT (561) 822- 1463 FOR DETAILS. PROVIDE THE
 BIKE PARKING AREA DIMENSIONS ON THE PLAN TO VERIFY THAT
 IT CONTAINS PARKING FOR THE PROPER AMOUNT OF BICYCLES.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BICYCLE PARKING SHALL BE
 DISTRIBUTED FOR BOTH BUILDINGS.
  
 7) PROVIDE A TREE OR GROUPING OF PALMS IN THE LARGE
 ISLAND IN THE NORTHERN PARKING AREA.
  
 8) THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING REQUIRES SCREENING ON THE SOUTH SIDE.
  
 9) PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING A RECYCLING CONTAINER
 ENCLOSURE.
  
 10) PROVIDE VERIFICATION FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY WATER
 UTILITIES THAT THE TREES AND DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE MAY BE
 LOCATED AS SHOWN IN THE EASEMENT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
 THE BUILDING.
  
 11) THERE APPEARS TO BE A TREE INSTALLED ON THE WATER
 LINE ALONG THE EAST PROPERTY LINE.
  
 12) A TREE IS MISSING FROM THE TERMINAL ISLAND TO THE
 SOUTH OF THE AMBULANCE DROP-OFF.
  
 13) THE LIGHT BY THE PAVER CROSS-WALKS AT THE NORTHEAST
 CORNER OF THE BUILDING APPEARS TO BE IN THE DRIVE
 AISLE.
  
 14) A LIGHT ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE EXISTING BUILDING
 APPEARS TO BE IN THE SIDEWALK.
  
 15) WHERE IS THE AC EQUIPMENT AND THE (FUTURE?)
 GENERATOR LOCATIONS?
  
 16) PLEASE PROVIDE THE BELLSOUTH LETTER.
  
 17) MARK THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES WITHIN EACH
 PARKING BAY (DONE IN PHASE I).
  
 18) VERIFY IN WRITING THAT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT DOES NOT
 REQUIRE A 20 FOOT CLEAR ROUTE AROUND THE ENTIRE
 BUILDING.
  
 19) THE USE BREAK DOWN TABLES ON THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE
 PLANS SHALL SEPARATE THE DETENTION AREA FROM THE
 PROVIDED LANDSCAPE CALCULATION. THE CITY DOES NOT COUNT
 DETENTION/RETENTION AREAS TOWARD MEETING THE 15%
 LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENT. IT DOES COUNT TOWARD THE OPEN
 SPACE AND PERVIOUS SURFACE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 20) THE USE BREAK DOWN TABLE STATES THAT THE CANOPIES
 ARE NOT PART OF THE BUILDING COVERAGE. WHERE ARE THEY
 COUNTED?
  
 21) PROVIDE THE BAY AND STALL DEPTHS FOR ALL OF THE
 ANGLED PARKING AREAS - THE HALF BAYS ON THE EAST, SOUTH
 AND WEST SIDES AND THE FULL BAY ON THE WEST SIDE. THE
 AREAS SCALE TOO NARROW.
  
 22) THE 13 FOOT AISLE MEASURE BY THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
 OF THE BUILDING MAY NOT INCLUDE THE CURB.
  
 23) THE ANGLED HC SPACES ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING INTRUDE INTO THE DRIVE AISLE.
  
 24) THE TERMINAL ISLANDS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING AND THE INTERIOR ISLAND ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
 THE BUILDING SHALL BE ENLARGED TO BE AS DEEP AS THE
 ADJACENT PARKING SPACES.
