 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN
 FORMAT.
  
 1. IN ADDITION TO THE LANDSCAPE PLAN DRAWN AT 60 SCALE,
 THE APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT LANDSCAPE PLANS DRAWN AT 20
 SCALE WITH CERTAIN DETAILS OR TIGHT AREAS DRAWN AT A
 LARGE SCALE. THIS PLAN IS VERY DIFFICULT TO READ,
 ESPECIALLY WHERE THERE IS A LAYERING OF PLANT
 MATERIRAL.
  
 2. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (3)
 (A), EVERY TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN ONE
 SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE. THE ISLAND ADJACENT TO THE
 HANDICAP PARKING ROW NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE
 BUIDLING IS MISSING A TREE.
  
 3. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (D),
 PRIVATE LAND AND PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY BETWEEN STREET OR
 SIDEWALK SURFACES AND REQUIRED BUFFER STRIPS AND
 LANDSCAPED OPEN SPACE AREAS SHALL BE PLANTED WITH
 GRASS. GRASS AREAS SHALL BE SODDED. THE APPLICANT SHALL
 RESOD ALL LAWN AREAS THROUGHOUT THE SITE, INCLUDING THE
 RIGHTS-OF-WAY WHERE THE GRASS HAS DIED OR IS WEED
 INFESTED. PLACE A NOTE ON THE PLAN THAT SOD AND
 IRRIGATION WILL BE PROVIDED IN THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY. ALSO,
 PLACE A NOTE ON THE PLAN INDICATING THAT SOD WILL BE
 INSTALLED IN ALL AREAS WHERE THE GRASS IS DEAD,
 UNHEALTHY OR WEED INFESTED.
  
 4 REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(3)(B),
 EVERY INTERIOR LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST
 ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE. THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE
 INTERIOR LANDSCAPE ISLANDS THAT ARE MISSING TREES.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C)(3)(C), IF DIVIDER
 MEDIANS ARE USED, THEY SHALL FORM A CONTINUOUS
 LANDSCAPED STRIP BETWEEN ABUTTING ROWS OF PARKING
 SPACES. SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES WITHIN A DIVIDER
 MEDIAN SHALL BE PLANTED AT 30-FOOT INTERVALS. THOUGH
 THIS COMMENT WAS ADDRESSED, THE SPACING BETWEEN THE
 NEWLY PLANTED LIVE OAKS IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS IS TOO
 CLOSE. TREES WERE ORIGINALLY PLANTED AT APPROXIMATELY
 30 FEET ON CENTER AND THAT SPACING SHOULD BE
 MAINTAINED. OTHER AREAS OF THE MEDIANS SHOULD HAVE MORE
 TREES PLANTED. PLEASE REPOSITION THE TREES TO HAVE A
 MORE EQUAL SPACING THROUGHOUT THE PARKING LOT.
  
 6. PLEASE CLARIFY THE LANDSCAPE CALCULATIONS. OPEN
 SPACE IS CALCULATED BY TAKING THE TOTAL LOT SQUARE
 FOOTAGE AND DEDUCTING THE TOTAL SQUARE FEET OF THE
 BUILDING FOOTPRINT. THE OTHER CALCULATIONS ARRE BASED
 UPON THOSE RESULTS.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (2), VEHICULAR USE
 AREAS SHALL BE SCREENED FROM THOROUGHFARES WITH A
 MINIMUM FIVE FOOT LANDSCAPE STRIP THAT CONTAINS A
 CONTINUOUS HEDGE. THE PROPOSED FIRECRACKER PLANT
 ADJACENT TO THE WEST SIDE OF THE RETENTION AREA DOES
 NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT. THE FIRECRACKER SHALL BE
 REPLACED WITH A HEDGE.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (2) (TABLE XIV-1), A
 HEDGE IS REQUIRED TO SCREEN THE VEHICULAR USE AREA FROM
 ADJACENT PROPERTIES. THERE ARE AREAS AROUND THE
 PERIMETER OF THE SITE (WITH THE EAST PERIMETER COVERED
 BY NOTE ON PLAN) WHERE NO HEDGE IS SHOWN. IF A HEDGE
 EXISTS, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE TYPE OF HEDGE AND SHOW IT
 ON THE PLAN.
  
 9. ALL UTILITIES, EASEMENTS, STREET LIGHTS AND ANYTHING
 ELSE THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH THE LANDSCAPING SHALL BE
 SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLANT TO AVOID CONFLICTS.
  
 10. BASED UPON THE TREE SURVEY, TREES # 52 & 53 ARE TO
 REMAIN BUT ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN. THESE
 TREES ARE LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE COOLING EQUIPMENT ON
 THE EAST SIDE OF THE BUILDING. THEY NEED TO REMAIN OR
 REPLACED. IN ADDITION, THE PROPOSED IXORA HEDGE WILL
 NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE SCREENING OF THE EQUIPMENT.
 PODOCARPUS OR EUGENIA SHALL BE INSTALLED AT A HEIGHT AT
 THE TIME OF PLANTING THAT WILL FULLY SCREEN THIS
 EQUIPMENT. THE LANDSCAPE AREA SURROUNDING THE EQUIPMENT
 SHALL BE ENLARGED TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SPACE FOR THE
 PLANTING. THIS WILL APPLY TO ALL OTHER MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT ON SITE.
  
 11. PLEASE PROVIDE IRRIGATION PLANS EQUIPPED WITH A
 RAIN SENSOR AND THE CAPACITY OF PROVIDING 120% COVERAGE
 TO ALL LANDSCAPED AREAS, INCLUSIVE OF ALL
 RIGHTS-OF-WAY.
  
 12. ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPE COMMENTS MAY BE FORTHCOMING
 UPON RESUBMITTAL OF PLANS DRAWN AT 20 SCALE WITH ALL
 UTILITIES SHOWN.
