 NO LIGHTING IS SHOWN ON THE PLAN, THIS NEEDS TO BE
 SUBMITTED SO IT CAN BE CHECKED AGAINST THE LANSCAPE
 PLAN THAT WAS SUBMITTED.
  
 3 COMMERCIAL SECURITY
  
 3.1 LIGHTING
 A. PARKING LOT AND PEDESTRIAN LIGHTING SHALL BE:
 A) HIGH EFFICACY OF GREATER THAN 70 LUMENS PER WATT
 B) A KELVIN TEMPERATURE OF 3,500 K OR GREATER THAN
 KELVIN TEMPERATURE
 C) COLOR RENDERING INDEX (CRI) OF 70 OR GREATER
 D) LAMP LIFE OF 20 THOUSAND HOURS OR GREATER.
 B. LIGHT POLES 10 ??? 15 FOOT HIGH FOR PEDESTRIAN-SCALE
 LIGHTING SHALL BE USED FOR ALL PEDESTRIAN WALKWAYS.
 C. PARKING LOT LIGHTING SHALL USE 20 -25 FOOT POLES.
 D. LANDSCAPING SHALL NOT OBSTRUCT VIEW OF WINDOWS,
 BUILDING ADDRESS NUMBERS, LIGHTING AND WALKWAYS.
 E. TIMER CLOCK OR PHOTOCELL SENSOR-ENGAGED LIGHTING FOR
 ABOVE OR NEAR ENTRYWAYS TO BUILDINGS FOR DUSK TO DAWN
 OPERATION SHALL BE PROVIDED.
 F. ENTRANCE SIGN LIGHTING SHALL BE PROVIDED.
 G. BUILDING LIGHTING (NON-GLARE) SHALL BE AROUND
 PERIMETER ON ALL SIDE.
  
 3.2 NUMERICAL ADDRESS
 A. ILLUMINATION FOR NIGHTTIME VISIBILITY IS REQUIRED.
 ADDRESS SHOULD BE PLACED UNDER A LIGHT FIXTURE OR BE
 BACK LIT.
 B. BI-DIRECTIONAL VISIBILITY FROM THE ROADWAY IS
 REQUIRED.
 C. ADDRESS NUMBERS ON SUITES/OFFICES WITHIN
 MULTI-TENANT BUILDINGS SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES
 HIGH.
 D. BUILDING NUMBERS SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 12 INCHES
 HIGH AND PLACED IN A CONSPICUOUS LOCATION AWAY FROM
 LANDSCAPING. MULTIPLE LOCATIONS MAY BE REQUIRED.
 NUMBERS OF CONTRASTING COLORS SHOULD BE USED.
  
 3.3 DOORS
 A. EXTERIOR DOORS SHALL ALL BE EQUIPPED WITH SECURITY
 HINGES AND SHALL BE REINFORCED WITH CASE HARDENED
 STRIKE PLATES. CASE HARDENED DEADBOLT LOCKS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED ON ALL EXTERIOR DOORS WITH A MINIMUM (1) INCH
 THROW OR MECHANICAL INTERLOCK.
 B. GLASS PERIMETER DOORS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH CASE
 HARDENED GUARD RINGS TO PROTECT THE MORTISE LOCK
 CYLINDER.
 C. REAR DOORS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH 180-DEGREE
 PEEPHOLE/ SECURITY VIEWER.
  
 3.5 DESIGN
 A. BUILDING ARCHITECTURE SHALL ALLOW FOR ENHANCED
 NATURAL SURVEILLANCE OF ALL PARKING LOTS AND PROVIDE A
 SENSE OF SECURITY TO PATRONS AND VISITORS.
 B. LANDSCAPING SHALL NOT OBSTRUCT VIEW FROM WINDOWS OR
 WALKWAYS.
 C. ALL BUILDINGS SHALL BE PRE-WIRED FOR CLOSED-CIRCUIT
 TELEVISION (CCTV) AND ALARM SYSTEMS.
 D. DUMPSTERS SHALL NOT ALLOW FOR EASY CONCEALMENT,
 CREATE BLIND SPOTS OR HIDING AREAS AND SHOULD BE ABLE
 TO BE LOCKED.
 E. SIGNS SHALL CLEARLY IDENTIFY PUBLIC ENTRANCES.
 F. LANDSCAPING SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT 3 FEET OR LESS.
 TREES SHALL BE INSTALLED SO AS NOT TO CONFLICT WITH THE
 LIGHTING SYSTEM. LOWER CANOPY LIMBS ON TREES SHALL BE
 MAINTAINED AT 8 FEET OR HIGHER.
 G. CONVEX MIRRORS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN STAIRWELL
 ENABLING VIEWS OF UPPER AND LOWER STAIRWAYS.
 H. BIKE RACKS SHOULD BE AT THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING OR
 COMPLEX, NOT IN THE PARKING LOT FOR EASY SURVEILLANCE
 AND SAFETY.
