 RESUBMITTED PLANS OR THE SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION/PLANS
 TO ADDRESS THE COMMENTS MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS.
  
 1) THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING THE PARKING SPACE SURVEY AND
 THE LETTER FROM THE PONTE VERDE MANAGEMENT. THE SURVEY
 AND THE LETTER STATE THAT THERE ARE 780 PARKING SPACES
 PROVIDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT. PLANNING STAFF RESEARCHED
 THE HISTORIC PLANS BOTH IN THE PLANNING DIVISION FILES
 AND THE BUILDING PERMIT RECORDS AND BOTH SETS STATE
 THAT THE DEVELOPMENT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE 812 PARKING
 SPACES AS OUTLINED IN THE TABLE BELOW (SNIP OF PLANS
 SENT TO APPLICANT). THE PLANS FURTHER STATE THAT 817
 REGULAR AND 16 ADA PARKING SPACES WERE PROVIDED.
  
 152 1-BEDROOM UNITS REQUIRE 266 PARKING SPACES
 248 2-BEDROOM UNITS REQUIRE 496 PARKING SPACES
 10% GUEST PARKING REQUIRES 50 PARKING SPACES
  
 TOTAL REQUIRED IS 812 PARKING SPACES.
  
 THE EXISTING NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES IS DEFICIENT FOR
 THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES REQUIRED BY 32
 PARKING SPACES, SO NO PARKING SPACES MAY BE REMOVED TO
 CONVERT TO GENERAL USE EV SPACES.
  
 2) STAFF COULD NOT LOCATE THAT THERE WAS AN ALTERNATIVE
 PARKING PLAN APPROVED. AN EXAMPLE IS IF THE UNIT MIX
 CHANGED DURING CONSTRUCTION, LESS PARKING SPACES MAY
 HAVE BEEN REQUIRED. IF YOU CAN PROVIDE VERIFICATION
 THAT THE CITY APPROVED LESS PARKING SPACES FOR THE
 DEVELOPMENT, THEN STAFF WILL REVIEW THE PARKING
 REQUIREMENT COMMENT.
  
 3) THE DIMENSIONS ON SHEET E 3.1 SEEM TO INDICATE THAT
 THE PARKING SPACES, INCLUDING THE DOUBLE WHITE
 STRIPING, MAY BE GREATER THAN THE CODE MINIMUM OF 8.5
 FEET IN WIDTH (CENTER OF DOUBLE STRIPE TO CENTER OF
 DOUBLE STRIPE). IF THE DIMENSIONS WORK, THERE MAY BE AN
 OPPORTUNITY TO RESTRIPE A COUPLE OF THE PARKING ROWS TO
 ADD TWO PARKING SPACES. THIS WOULD REQUIRE EXACT
 DIMENSIONS FOR THE SUBJECT ROWS SO THAT STAFF CAN
 VERIFY THAT IT WOULD WORK.
  
 4) SHEET E 3.1 DOES NOT ACCURATELY DEPICT THE
 CONDITIONS WHERE THE PROPOSED CHARGER SPACES ARE MARKED
 ON THE PARKING SURVEY (SPACES 181 AND 182). THE PLANS
 MUST ACCURATELY REFLECT THE SITE CONDITIONS.
  
 5) THE PARKING STALL DETAIL ON SHEET E 3.1 INDICATES
 THAT THE BOLLARD WILL BE LARGER THAN THE DOUBLE WHITE
 STRIPING. IF THIS IS CASE, PROVIDE THE DIMENSION FROM
 THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE BOLLARD TO THE INSIDE EDGE OF
 THE OPPOSITE WHITE STRIPE SO THAT STAFF CAN VERIFY THAT
 THERE IS ADEQUATE DISTANCE FOR A CAR TO BE PARKED THERE
 WHILE CHARGING.
