 1) THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING A REPRESENTATION OF THE
 MODEL S ON SHEET C-5; HOWEVER, THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR
 THE LENGTH OF THE MODEL S THAT STAFF FOUND ON-LINE LIST
 THAT THE MODEL S IS 16.33 FEET IN LENGTH. ADDITIONALLY,
 THE MODEL X IS LISTED AS 16.525 FEET IN LENGTH. THE
 PLANS MUST ACCURATELY DEPICT THE LONGER MODEL X AND
 CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THAT WHEN THIS CAR IS PARKED IN THE
 SPACE, IT WILL NOT PROJECT INTO THE DRIVE AISLE.
  
 2) THE PALM BEACH OUTLETS DESIGN GUIDELINES HAVE
 SPECIFIC SIGNAGE REQUIREMENTS. THESE PERMIT THE
 INSTALLATION OF THE NON-ILLUMINATED TESLA PARKING
 SIGNS, BUT DO NOT PERMIT THE CHARGING POSTS TO HAVE THE
 TESLA NAME OR LOGO ON THEM. THE PLANS NEED TO BE
 UPDATED TO REMOVE TESLA FROM THE CHARGING POSTS. PLEASE
 NOTE THAT THE ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM PALM BEACH OUTLETS
 DOES NOT PERMIT SIGNAGE THAT IS NOT PERMITTED BY THE
 PALM BEACH OUTLETS DESIGN GUIDELINES.
  
 3) SINCE YOUR RESUBMITTAL, THE CITY'S CHIEF BUILDING
 OFFICIAL HAS INFORMED THE PLANNING DIVISION THAT THE
 INSTALLATION OF TESLA EXCLUSIVE CHARGING STATION
 PARKING SPACES REQUIRES THAT ADA COMPLIANT SPACES ARE
 PROVIDED FOR THE TESLA USERS AT A RATIO OF 1 ADA
 COMPLIANT SPACE PER 25 TESLA CHARGING SPACES. BASED ON
 THIS REQUIREMENT, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE ONE
 SPACE THAT COMPLIES WITH THE 12 FOOT ADA PARKING SPACE
 WIDTH WITH A FIVE (5) FOOT WIDE ADA ACCESS AISLE. BASED
 ON THE SITE CONDITIONS, THE TWO SPACES ADJACENT TO
 CHARGING STATION 1A WILL NEED TO BE STRIPED AS ONE ADA
 SPACE WITH THE ACCESS AISLE. THE ACCESS AISLE STRIPING
 WOULD THEN NEED TO EXTEND ACROSS THE ACCESS AISLE TO
 CONNECT WITH THE ACCESS AISLE ON THE PARKING ROW TO THE
 EAST OF THE TESLA SPACES SO THAT THE CONTINUOUS ADA
 ROUTE IS PROVIDED. A DRAWING HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO SARAH
 HONEYCUTT VIA E-MAIL TO DEMONSTRATE THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 4) THE UDS PLANS DO NOT NEED TO BE UPDATED.

 1) THE UNDERGROUND SERVICE LATERAL CONDUIT FROM THE FPL
 TRANSFORMER TO THE CHARGING CABINETS IS SHOWN
 TRAVERSING THE LANDSCAPE ISLAND ADJACENT TO THE
 CHARGING CABINETS. SHEET E-5 CALLS OUT THE CONDUIT
 INSTALLATION DONE BY TRENCHING. YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED
 TO TRENCH THROUGH THE LANDSCAPE ISLAND AS IT WILL
 DAMAGE THE EXISTING TREE ROOTS. THE PLANS NEED TO BE
 CHANGED TO SHOW THE CONDUIT INSTALLED FULLY UNDER
 PAVEMENT AND NOT UNDER THE LANDSCAPE ISLAND.
  
 2) THE PALM BEACH OUTLETS DESIGN GUIDELINES REQUIRE THE
 SCREENING OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. THE CHARGING
 CABINETS AND THE SWITCHGEAR ASSEMBLY MUST BE WRAPPED IN
 THE STYLE USED THROUGHOUT THE PALM BEACH OUTLETS. THIS
 MUST BE CLEARLY ACKNOWLEDGED AND SHOWN ON THE PLANS
 (EX. ON PAGE E-6). BASED ON THE HEIGHT OF THE
 EQUIPMENT, STAFF IS STILL REVIEWING THE NEED FOR A
 HEDGE IN THE LANDSCAPE ISLAND TO SCREEN THE SOUTH SIDE
 OF THE CHARGING CABINETS AND SWITCHGEAR ASSEMBLY.
  
 3) THE PROPOSED WHEEL STOPS DO NOT MEET CITY STANDARDS.
 SINCE THE CHARGING SPACES HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE
 PARKING INVENTORY, THE ALTERNATIVE DESIGN MAY BE USED.
 HOWEVER, THE PLANS MUST CLEARLY INDICATE THAT THE
 PLACEMENT OF THE WHEEL STOPS WILL NOT RESULT IN TESLA
 VEHICLES EXCEEDING THE 18 FOOT PARKING BAY AND
 EXTENDING INTO THE DRIVE AISLE.
  
 A. DUE TO THE WHEEL STOPS NOT COMPLYING TO CITY
 REQUIREMENTS, YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY OF THE SPACES POSTED
 AS "OPEN PARKING". ALL 10 OF THE SPACES THAT ARE
 AFFECTED BY THE CHARGING STATION INSTALLATION HAVE BEEN
 ACCOUNTED AS DEDICATED TO TESLA.
  
 4) THE PALM BEACH OUTLETS DESIGN GUIDELINES HAVE
 SPECIFIC SIGNAGE REQUIREMENTS. THESE PERMIT THE
 INSTALLATION OF THE NON-ILLUMINATED TESLA PARKING
 SIGNS, BUT DO NOT PERMIT THE CHARGING POSTS TO HAVE THE
