 5) SEATING
  
 A. THE NOTES STATE THAT THE BENCH DETAILS ARE STILL IN
 PROGRESS. PLEASE PROVIDE THE FINAL DETAILS WITH THE
 RESUBMITTAL FOR BOTH THE CONCRETE BENCHES AND THE WOOD
 SEATS.
 B. PROVIDE INFORMATION ON WHERE THE PUBLIC SEATING AND
 WHERE THE PRIVATE SEATING WILL BE. THIS MUST INCLUDE
 THE NUMBERS OF SEATING AND A COMPARISON WITH THE
 EXISTING PUBLIC SEATING NUMBERS.
 C. THE AREAS THAT APPEAR FROM THE PLANS TO BE PUBLIC
 SEATING SEEM TO ALL LACK BACKRESTS. YOU NEED TO PROVIDE
 SOME OF THE PUBLIC SEATING WITH BACKRESTS. PROVIDE THE
 DETAILS AND THE LOCATIONS FOR THIS SEATING STYLE.
  
 6) RENDERINGS SHOW GROUND MOUNTED LIGHTING THAT IS NOT
 SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
  
 7) THE RENDERINGS SHOW PLANTING BEDS AGAINST THE ARCADE
 THAT ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
  
 8) IN THE PAST, CITYPLACE HAS EXPRESSED THAT SOME
 RETAILERS OCCUPYING THE BAYS UNDER THE ARCADE ALONG THE
 PLAZA COMPLAINED ABOUT THE POOR SIGHT LINES TO THEIR
 SIGNAGE. THE RENDERINGS SHOW THE PROPOSED TRELLIS
 FEATURES AND CREEPING VINES BLOCKING VIRTUALLY ALL OF
 THE SIGN ZONES FOR THE GROUND FLOOR TENANT SPACES FOR
 THE LENGTH OF THE PLAZA. THE PLANNING STAFF WILL NOT
 GRANT WAIVERS TO THE SIGN ZONE PLACEMENT BASED ON THE
 PLAZA DESIGN OBSTRUCTING THE SIGN ZONES.
