 1. DESIGN SHALL CONFORM TO THE 2007 EDITION OF THE
 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE WHICH CONTAINS THE FLORIDA
 EDITION OF NFPA 1 AND NFPA 101.
 2. ALL DEMOLITION WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE

 DESIGNED OR MANIPULATED TO PRODUCE BEHAVIORAL EFFECTS
 THAT WILL REDUCE THE INCIDENTS AND FEAR OF CRIME.
  
 TO THE URBAN PROFESSIONAL OR ANY CREATOR OF PUBLIC AND

 ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN INVOLVES DESIGNING THE BUILT
 ENVIRONMENT TO REDUCE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CRIME AND
 DISORDER. THIS APPROACH TO SECURITY DESIGN RECOGNIZES
 THE INTENDED USE OF SPACE IN A BUILDING AND IS
 DIFFERENT FROM TRADITIONAL SECURITY PRACTICES, WHICH
 FOCUSES ON DENYING ACCESS TO A CRIME TARGET WITH

 REINFORCEMENT. THE DESIGN PROCESS SHOULD INCLUDE CPTED

 A. PROVIDING LANDSCAPING THAT DOES NOT CREATE HIDING
 SPACES.
 B. PROVIDING CLEARLY MARKED TRANSITIONAL ZONES THAT
 INDICATE MOVEMENT FROM PUBLIC TO SEMI-PUBLIC THROUGH
 USE OF BRICK PAVERS.
 C. ENSURE PARKING AREAS ARE VISIBLE FROM WINDOWS AND
 ARE NOT BLOCKED BY LANDSCAPING.
 D. RESTRICT SHRUBBERY TO NO MORE THAN THREE FEET HIGH
 TO ALLOW CLEAR VISIBILITY IN VULNERABLE AREAS. GROUND
 COVER SHOULD NOT EXCEED SIX INCHES (6?) IN HEIGHT AND

 EXTERIOR LIGHTING SHALL UTILIZE 20-25 FOOT LIGHT POLES
 WITH CLOSE SPACING BETWEEN POLES FOR BETTER VERTICAL
 SURFACE ILLUMINATION. ALL ON-SITE LIGHTING SHALL
 CONSIST OF METAL HALIDE (OR EQUIVALENT LIGHTING
 APPROVED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT) WITH FULL CUT OFF
 FIXTURE AND LIGHTING SHALL NOT CONFLICT WITH PLANTED
 LANDSCAPING. LUMINARY TYPE SHOULD OPTIMIZE LIGHT
 DISTRIBUTION AND MINIMIZE GLARE AN UP LIGHTING.
  
 5. PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE FIRST CERTIFICATE OF
 OCCUPANCY THE APPLICANT SHALL PROVIDE PHOTOCELL SENSOR
 ENGAGED ?DUSK TO DAWN? LIGHTING IN THE REAR OF ALL
 BUILDINGS AND SENSITIVE AREAS.
  
 6. A 6-8 FT. CONCRETE WALL SHOULD RUN ALONG THE
 PROPERTY LINE IN THE NORTH-WEST CORNER OF THE SITE.

 7. PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
 FOR THE BUILDING, THE FOLLOWING SECURITY MEASURES SHALL
 BE INSTALLED, AND REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE POLICE
 DEPARTMENT.
 A. SENSITIVE AREAS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH AN INTRUSION
 ALARM SYSTEM.
 B. DOORS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH METAL PLATE OVER

 CONSTRUCT THE SIGN OUT OF A DURABLE MATERIAL. IF THE
 BRACKETS TO MOUNT THE BANNERS ARE TO BE PERMANENT, AND
 THE BANNERS INTERCHANGEABLE (HOLIDAY SEASON, ETC.),
 THEN THE REGULATIONS SHALL BE WRITTEN TO REFLECT THIS.
  
 B. THE LIGHT POLE BANNERS SHALL ONLY BE LOCATED ON
 DECORATIVE LIGHT POLES LINING THE 4 ENTRY ROADS TO THE
 SITE. THE BANNERS SHALL BEGIN NO CLOSER THAN 50 FEET

 FIXTURE. PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE LIGHT POLE
 MOUNTED BANNERS TO ENSURE THEY MEET APPLICABLE BUILDING
 CODE REQUIREMENTS. THE CITY USES BANNERS THAT ARE 5? X
 2.5? (12.5 SQ. FT.) ON ITS LOWER SPEED STREETS SUCH AS
 CLEMATIS STREET. THIS SHALL BE THE MAXIMUM SIZE

 SPACES AND BE ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE FROM THE PUBLIC
 ROW. THE ROUTE TO THE TRANSFER FACILITY SHALL BE
