 5. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (B) (3),
 THE TOTAL OPEN SPACE AREA REQUIRED SHALL DETERMINE THE
 NUMBER OF TREES AND SHRUBS TO BE PLANTED. THE TOTAL
 AMOUNT OF PLANT MATERIAL REQUIRED SHALL NOT BE AFFECTED
 BY THAT PORTION OF THE OPEN SPACE AREA DEVOTED TO
 ACTIVE RECREATION PURPOSES, PATIOS, TERRACES,
 PEDESTRIAN CIRCULATION AND SIMILAR AMENITIES. THE POD
 STORAGE AREA NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE OPEN SPACE
 CALCULATION. PLEASE DEMONSTRATE HOW YOU ARRIVED AT THE

 COUNTED AS TREES. REGARDLESS OF THE PROPOSED SIZE, THEY
 ARE BEING USED AS A TALL HEDGE. TREES ARE NOT PLANTED
 EIGHT FEET APART. THE DEFINITION OF "HEDGE" FOUND IN
 THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS IS: " HEDGE
 MEANS A SOLID, UNBROKEN ROW OF SHRUBS AOR CERTAIN TREE
 SPECIES MAINTAINED AT A DESIRED OR REQUIRED HEIGHT AND
 WIDTH, INCLUDING SUCH PLANT MATERIRAL AS FICUS
 BENJAMINA, LIGUSTRUM LUCIDUM, PODOCARPUS MACROPHYLLA,
 HIBISCUS ROSA-SINENSUS, AND MURRAYA PANICULATA".
  
 8. REPEAT COMMENT: PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (C), PALM
 TREES MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT
 OF THE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS
 ARTICLE. IF 43 SHADE TREES ARE REQUIRED AND ONLY
 FIFTEEN CAN BE PALMS (LIGUSTRUM CANNOT BE COUNTED), SIX

 PERMITTED UNLESS ENCLOSED ON ALL SIDES BY A WALL OF
 ADEQUATE HEIGHT CONSTRUCTED OF BRICK, DECORATIVE
 CONCRETE, OTHER DECORATIVE MASONRY, OR COMPARABLY
 DURABLE WOOD OR STEEL. WALL OPENINGS SHALL HAVE
 OBSCURING GATES.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE
 XEISCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS.

 BUFFER THAT IS CONSISTENT WITH WHAT HAS BEEN PLANTED
 ALONG THE REMAINDER OF THE STREET SHALL REMAIN. IF
 ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPING IS INSTALLED, IT SHALL BE
 PLANTED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE EXISTING BUFFER. THAT
 WILL INVOLVE ENLARGING THE LANDSCAPE STRIP.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442 (C), PALM TREES MAY BE
 SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF THE SHADE
 OR FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE.
  
 9. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443 (C) (4), FOR OTHER PAVED
 AREAS UTILIZED BY MOTOR VEHICLES, INCLUDING AISLES,
 LOADING AREAS, CIRCULATION AREAS AND DRIVE-IN SERVICE
 AREAS, ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPING SHALL BE PROVIDED AS
