 PLEASE RESPOND TO REVIEW COMMENTS IN WRITTEN FORMAT.
  
 1. ON LAKEVIEW AVENUE, THERE ARE STREET TREES PLANTED
 ALONG THE BALANCE OF THIS BLOCK. THE APPLICANT SHALL
 INSTALL ROYAL PALMS AND UNDERPLANTING TO MATCH THE
 HEIGHT AND SIZE OF THE TREES, SHRUBS AND GROUND COVERS
 ALREADY PLANTED ALONG THE REMAINDER OF THE BLOCK. THE
 PLANTING SHOUD BE REPEATED ON DIXIE HIGHWAY, AS WELL.
  
 2. THE PROPOSED PLANTING FOR THIS PASSIVE PARK IS WEAK.
 TREES SHOULD LINE THE PATHWAY AND BE OF LARGER SIZE.
 THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW LIVE OAKS IS 8' HEIGHT
 AND 5' CLEAR TRUNK. ALL TREES ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 FLORIDA NUMBER 1 GRADE OR BETTER. IT WOULD BE
 IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL AN 8' TREE WITH 5' OF CLEAR TRUNK
 AND MEET THE GRADING REQUIREMENT.
  
 3. THE PROPOSED ARECA PALMS ARE PLANTED OVER 20 FEET
 APART. THEY SHOULD BE AT LEAST 12 FEET IN HEIGHT AND BE
 PLANTED AT NO MORE THAN 10 FEET APART. THE APPLICANT
 SHALL CONSIDER THE USE OF OTHER PALMS AND SHRUBS SUCH
 AS GROUPINGS OF SABAL PALMS WITH UNDERPLANTING.
  
 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445 (4) (G) (3) (II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE. THE ENTIRE SITE SHALL BE IRRIGATED,
 INCLUDING THE ADJACENT RIGHTS-OF-WAY.

 A. BENCHES SHALL HAVE ADEQUATE LIGHTING AND BE LOCATED
 IN OPEN VIEW TO ELIMINATE CONCEALMENT AREAS.
 B. BENCHES WILL BE DIVIDED STYLE SEATING.
 C. SHALL BE DESIGNED TO MAXIMIZE NATURAL SURVEILLANCE
 OF THE PEDESTRIAN USERS THROUGH SELECTIVE VEGETATIVE
 MANAGEMENT PRACTICES.
 D. GROUND COVER SHALL BE NO HIGHER THAN 24 INCHES, WITH
 TREES HAVING A MINIMUM 7-FOOT CLEAR TRUNK SPACE FOR A
 NATURAL SURVEILLANCE WINDOW.
 E. INSTALL 12-FOOT PEDESTRIAN-SCALE LIGHTING. AS A
 GENERAL RULE, THE MINIMUM LIGHTING INTENSITY AT ANY
 POINT ALONG THE PATH SHALL BE AT 0.6 FOOT-CANDLES.
 F. SIGHT LINES SHALL HAVE A 12-FOOT CLEAR DISTANCE
 SPACE AT ENTRY POINTS, CURVES, MERGERS, INTERSECTIONS,
