 1. RESPOND TO ALL COMMENTS IN WRITING.
  
 2. THE MOST RECENT SET OF LANDSCAPE PLANS SUBMITTED TO
 THIS DEPARTMENT FOR REVIEW DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE
 COMPLETE.SHEET L-1 IS MISSING AND THE NUMBERING GOES
 FROM L-1 TO L-4 WITH NO L-2 OR L-3.PLEASE PROVIDE US
 WITH ANY MISSING SHEETS TO COMPLETE THE REVIEW SETS.
  
 3. ALL EXISTING AND PROPOSED TREES, SHRUBS AND GROUND
 COVER SHALL BE CLEARLY LABELED WITH THE QUANTITIES OF
 EACH SHOWN IN THE CORRECT LOCATION.
  
 4. SOME OF THE PLANT MATERIAL HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED
 INCORRECTLY.EITHER EXISTING PINE TREES WERE
 MISIDENTIFIED AS PALM TREES OR THE SYMBOL FOR RELOCATED
 PALMS WAS INCONSISTENT BETWEEN THE LEGEND AND THE PLAN.
 PLEASE CLARIFY.
  
 5. THERE WERE AT LEAST TWO (2) MAHOGANY TREES FOUND ON
 SITE THAT WERE SEVERELY STORM DAMAGED.CONSIDERING
 THEIR CONDITION, THESE TREES SHOULD BE REMOVED RATHER
 THAN RELOCATED. OTHER TREES NEED TO BE CORRECTIVELY
 PRUNED BY A CERTIFIED ARBORIST PRIOR TO TRANSPLANTING
 IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR SURVIVABILITY AND HEALTH.
 PLEASE UPDATE THE TREE ALTERATION APPLICATION AND PLANS
 WITH ANY CHANGES.
  
 6. PLEASE PROVIDE THE TABULATION NECESSARY FOR THE
 EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH ARTICLE XIV OF THE ZONING
 AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, INCLUDING THE DESIGN
 OPTIONS.
  
 7. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-442(C), PALM TREES MAY BE
 SUBSTITUTED FOR NOT MORE THAN 35 PERCENT OF THE SHADE
 AND FLOWERING TREES REQUIRED BY THIS ARTICLE.THERE
 APPEARS TO BE A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF PROPOSED PALM TREES
 WITHIN THE AREA THAT IS BEING MODIFIED ON THIS SITE.
  
 8. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-445(4)(G)(3)(II), IN ALL
 AREAS THAT ARE TO BE PLANTED IN A CULTIVATED LANDSCAPE,
 IRRIGATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE 120
 PERCENT COVERAGE.THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE
 RIGHTS-OF-WAY.A NOTE REFERENCING THE REQUIRED
 IRRIGATION SHALL BE PROVIDED ON THE PLAN.
  
 9. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(3)(A), ALL TERMINAL
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREE.A SMALL PALM SPECIES SUCH AS THRYNAX
 OR A SMALL FLOWERING TREE SUCH AS CASSIA WOULD BE
 RECOMMENDED FOR PLANTING WITHIN THE TERMINAL LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS (NORTH END OF THE PARKING ROWS) TO ADD SOME
 INTEREST.
  
 10. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(5)(A), LANDSCAPE
 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE
 CHARACTERIZED AS ?TYPE D?.
  
 11. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(3)(B), ONE INTERIOR
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY TEN

 LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (SEE ATTACHED DIAGRAM FOR
 REFERENCE), AND HANDICAP RAMPS.
  
 3. PROVIDE LOCATION, HEIGHT AND INTENSITY OF ALL
 OUTDOOR ILLUMINATION.PLEASE NOTE THAT GLARE SHALL NOT
 EXCEED 0.5 FOOT CANDLE AT OR BEYOND THE NORTH PROPERTY

 4. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(3)(A), TERMINAL
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS SHALL CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR
 FLOWERING TREE.A SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE SHALL BE
 LOCATED AT EACH TERMINAL ISLAND OF THE PARKING ROW AT
 THE EAST SIDE OF THE PARKING LOT.IN ADDITION, STAFF
 RECOMMENDS THE ADDITION OF SMALL SHADE TREES AT EACH
 TERMINAL ISLAND ABUTTING THE EXISTING ASPHALT WALKWAY
 ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PARKING LOT.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-443(C)(3)(B), ONE INTERIOR
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY TEN
 PARKING SPACES OR FRACTION THEREOF.INTERIOR LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS SHALL BE AT LEAST FIVE FEET WIDE AND SHALL
 CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE.AN

 AREAS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM VEHICULAR USE AREAS BY
 NONMOUNTABLE, CONCRETE CURBING OF THE TYPE

 DURABILITY.
  
 7. PER SECTION 94-443(C)(5)(B), WHEEL STOPS SHALL HAVE
 A MINIMUM HEIGHT OF SIX INCHES ABOVE THE FINISHED GRADE
 OF THE PARKING AREA.WHEEL STOPS SHALL BE TWO FEET
 FROM THE CURB TO THE BACK OF THE WHEEL STOP.
  
 8. NUMBER ALL PARKING SPACES OR PROVIDE TOTAL NUMBER OF
 PARKING SPACES PER ROW.
  
 9. PROVIDE WIDTH AND DEPTH DIMENSIONS OF ALL DRIVE
 AISLES.PLEASE NOTE THAT PER SECTION 94-485(J)(2), 90
 DEGREE PARKING SPACES AND TWO-WAY DRIVE AISLES SHALL
 HAVE A DRIVE AISLE OF A MINIMUM OF 24 FEET.
  
 10. PROVIDE WIDTH AND DEPTH DIMENSIONS OF ALL STANDARD
 AND HANDICAP PARKING SPACES, INCLUDING THE ACCESS AISLE
 OF THE HANDICAP PARKING SPACE.
  
 11. THE SITE PLAN SHOWS A HANDICAP ACCESS ROUTE THROUGH
 THE MIDDLE OF A LANDSCAPE ISLAND.PLEASE ADDRESS.
  
 12. PURSUANT TO SECTION 94-485(Q)(1), ONE BICYCLE
 PARKING SPACE SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EVERY 10 AUTOMOBILE
 PARKING SPACES.PROVIDE DETAILS AND LOCATION OF THE
 BICYCLE PARKING SPACES MEETING THE DESIGN STANDARDS
 OUTLINED IN SECTION 94-485(Q)(2).

 15. LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY A
 REGISTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT.
  
 16. THERE IS A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE EXISTING
 CONDITIONS ON THE SITE AND THE LANDSCAPE PLAN REGARDING
 THE TREES ON THE LANDSCAPE AREAS BETWEEN THE PARKING
 SPACES.PLEASE REVISE.
