 PAVEMENT COVER TO TOP OF 30" DIP FORCEMAIN. THIS
 DISTANCE WILL NEED VERIFICATION. PLEASE MAKE PROVISIONS
 ON YOU PLANS TO HAVE THE CONTRACTOR VERIFY THIS DEPTH
 BEFORE PROJECT COMMENCEMENT.
  
 #2 PLEASE SHOW DOMESTIC WATER AND FIRE PROTECTION
 INDEPENDENT. PUBLIC UTILITY POLICY DICTATES THAT EACH
 SHALL COME OFF A SEPARATE SOURCE. DEDICATED FIRELINE
 JUST REQUIRED A DETECTOR CHECK ASSEMBLY AT THE SOURCE
 OF WATER. DETECTOR CHECK ASSEMBLIES (DCDA) ARE ALSO
 CONSIDERED PRIVATE THEREFORE THEY MUST BE AS CLOSE TO
 CITY WATER SOURCE AS POSSIBLE BUT JUST INSIDE YOU
 PROPERTY LINE AFTER THE CITY?S CONTROL VALVE (RWGV).
 VALVE MUST SHOWN IN A UTILITY EASEMENT.
  
 #3 DOMESTIC WATER METER SIZE IS NOT CALLED OUT.

 THANK YOU FOR SUBMITTAL FOR ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT
 APPROVAL FROM THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, PUBLIC WORKS
 DEPARTMENT. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED
 BEFORE WE CAN ISSUE THE APPROVAL FOR THE PROJECT.
  
 1. REVISE THE PLANS TO INDICATE WHICH PORTIONS OF THE
 POTABLE WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND STORMWATER SYSTEM
 WILL REMAIN PUBLICALLY OWNED AND WHICH SECTIONS WILL BE
 MAINTAINED BY THE APPLICANT. TYPICALLY, THE CITY'S
 OWNERSHIP STOPS AT THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE UNLESS
 EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRED THE OWNERSHIP
 DIVISION TO TAKE PLACE AT ANOTHER LOCATION.
  
 2. SUBMIT DEMAND, FLOW, AND YARDAGE CALCULATIONS FOR
 THE POTABLE WATER, SANITARY SEWER, AND SOLID WASTE
 COLLECTION.
  
 3. SUBMIT A HYDRAULIC ANALYSIS OF THE PROPOSED WATER
 DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
  
 4. THE SUBMITTED SURVEY REFERENCE NAVD 88. SECTION 78-9
 OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDINANCES SPECIFIES NGVD 1929 AS
 THE OFFICIAL CITY VERTICAL DATUM. PLEASE REVISE THE
 PLANS TO REFERENCE NGVD 1929.
  
 5. REVISE THE PLANS TO INCLUDE THE UPDATED TRENCH
 RESTORATION DETAIL (P-4) ON SHEET DT-5.
  
 6. VERIFY THAT THE PROPOSED SIZE AND QUANTITY OF TRASH
 BINS IS APPROPRIATE FOR THE WASTE YARDAGE ANTICIPATED
 TO BE GENERATED BY THE COMPLEX. CONSIDER USING A
 COMPACTOR TO REDUCE THE YARDAGE OF WASTE THAT WILL NEED
 TO BE COLLECTED.
  
 7. PLEASE SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF THE ROOF DRAINS, HOW
 THEY WILL CONNECT INTO THE STORMWATER SYSTEM, AND
 PROVIDE CALCULATIONS SHOWING BOTH THE VOLUME AND
 VELOCITY OF THE ROOF DISCHARGE HAS BEEN TAKEN INTO
 ACCOUNT AS PART OF THE DESIGN. IF THE ROOF DRAINS WILL
 TIE INTO THE SYSTEM UPSTREAM OF THE EXFILTRATION TRENCH
 WEIRS, PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE WEIR HEIGHT WAS USED AS
 THE TAILWATER ELEVATION FOR THE ROOF DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
  
 8. THE PROJECT MUST PROVIDE ADEQUATE STORMWATER
 MANAGEMENT, INCLUDING NOT MODIFYING THE VELOCITY OR
 VOLUME OF OFF-SITE STORMWATER DISCHARGE. DESCRIBE HOW
 THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED. COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 40E-4
 FAC WILL DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH THIS PROVISION.
 [CODE OF ORDINANCES SECTIONS 90-201, 94-35(C )(11),
 94-307, AND 94-580] THE SUBMITTED CALCULATIONS DO NOT
 SHOW THE HISTORIC OFF-SITE DISCHARGE RATE OR THE
 PROPOSED DISCHARGE RATE.
  
 9. REVISE THE DRAINAGE CALCULATIONS TO UTILIZE THE
 HISTORIC (WITH BUILDINGS) CONDITION OF THE SITE AS THE
 EXISTING CONDITIONS.
  
 10. SHOW THAT THE PEAK STAGE RESULTING FROM THE 25
 YEAR, 3 DAY STORM EVENT IS RETAINED ON SITE AS SHOWN IN
 THE SUBMITTED STORMWATER MODEL.
  
 11. PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION FOR THE TAILWATER
 ELEVATION USED IN THE SUBMITTED STORMWATER
 CALCULATIONS. THE CALCULATIONS UTILIZE BOTH 19 FT NGVD
 AND 16.8 FT NGVD.
  
 12. THE STARTING STORAGE VALUES FOR THE EXISTING
 LANDSCAPE AREA (22.8 FT) APPEARS TO BE LOWER THAN THE
 ELEVATIONS SHOWN ON THE SURVEY. THE STARTING STORAGE
 ELEVATION FOR THE PROPOSED SIDEWALKS (23.75) AND
 STARTING ELEVATION FOR LANDSCAPE AREAS (22.8) ALSO
 APPEARS TO BE LOWER THAN THE ELEVATIONS SHOWN ON THE
 PROPOSED PLANS. THE STAGE-STORAGE ALSO TAKES CREDIT FOR
 BOTH THE VOLUME IN THE TRENCH AND PIPE AS WELL AS THE
 VOLUME CALCULATED THROUGH THE EXFILTRATION TENCH
 FORMULA. THE VOLUME OF THE TRENCH AND PIPE ARE TAKEN
 INTO CONSIDERATION IN THE EXFILTRATION TRENCH FORMULA.
 THE ASSUMED VOID SPACE OF 50% IS HIGH FOR THE
 EXFILTRATION ROCK. PLEASE REVISE THE CALCULATIONS TO
 REFLECT THE SUBMITTED DESIGN.
  
 13. WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE PROPOSED DRAINAGE
 OUTFALL STRUCTURE. THE STRUCTURE MAY NEED TO BE
 REHABILITATED OR REPLACE IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE THE
 PROPOSED PIPE AND DISCHARGE VELOCITY.
  
 14. PLEASE REVISE THE DRIVEWAY APRONS TO MEET THE
 CITY'S ENGINEERING DESIGN STANDARDS. PLEASE ALSO
 INCLUDE THE DETAILS FOR THE SIDEWALK RAMPS, HTTP://WPB.

 ADVISORY: A RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT FROM THE ENGINEERING
