At the Historic Preservation Board (HPB) meeting on May 29, 2013, a re quest for an Ad Valorem Preconstruction Application for the property a t 114 S. Olive Avenue, an individually designated structure on the Wes t Palm Beach Register of Historic Places, was heard by the HPB. The r equest was for: 1. Rehabilitation of terra cotta work on exterior facade. 2. Repair of windows. 3. Replacement of storefront with multi-light aluminum Nano storefront doors. 4. Addition of 1,684 SF on the roof. The addition will be setback fro m the front fa?ade approximately 30 feet at the closest and approximat ely 55 feet for the majority of the massing. It will consist of CMU w alls finished with smooth stucco and no fenestration. Its functions i nclude two stairwells, an office, lockers, restrooms and a prep area f or the rooftop patio. 5. Installation of glass railing at front elevation on roof level.
