At the Historic Preservation Board (HPB) meeting on August 27, 2013, a request for new construction of a primary structure in the Grandview Heights Historic District, was heard by the HPB. The request was for: 1. Construction of a new 1,804 SF one-story primary structure. The on e-story structure would represent the Art Deco style. The north (fron t) elevation would feature two casement windows, a porthole window, an entry door and rounded eyebrows as well as scoring lines. The other elevations would be streamlined with glass block, casement windows and French Doors. The casement windows would feature galvanized or white aluminum frames and clear glass.
