 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET G1.0 HEADING OF USE AND OCCUPANCY STATES THE
 OCCUPANCY AS BUSINESS AND REFERENCES PER SECTION
 303.1.1 SMALL OCCUPANCIES SHALL BE CLASSIFIED AS
 BUSINESS LESS THAN 50 OCCUPANTS. PLEASE UNDERSTAND
 SECTION 303.1.1 IS WITHIN THE ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES AND
 IF IT IS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY SUCH AS RESTAURANTS,
 TAVERNS AND BARS WITH A OCCUPANT LOAD OF LESS THAN 50
 THEN THEY ARE CONSIDERED SMALL ASSEMBLY OR BUSINESS
 OCCUPANCY. BUSINESS OCCUPANCIES ARE USUALLY OFFICES
 WHERE PROFESSIONALS SUCH AS DOCTORS, LAWYERS, CIVIC
 ADMINISTRATION, RADIO STATIONS OR SERVICE-TYPE
 TRANSACTIONS, INCLUDING BANKS INCLUDING STORAGE OF
 RECORDS AND OR ACCOUNTS. THE PLAN IS NOT CLEAR AS TO
 THE USAGE OF THIS SPACE? THERE IS NO DESK FOR A
 BUSINESS OCCUPANCY POSSIBLE MERCANTILE? PER SECTION
 309.1 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE DISPLAYS AND SALES OF
 MERCHANDISE ACCESSIBLE O THE PUBLIC.
  
 2) THE OCCUPANT LOAD WOULD BE A HIGHER COUNT SINCE AN
 OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR OF 60 WOULD BE USED INSTEAD OF THE

 LABELED 01 IS STATED AS A SHOWROOM WHICH LENDS ITSELF
 TO A MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY AS IN THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING
 CODE SECTION 309.1 DISPLAYS AND SALES OF MERCHANDISE.
  
 4) THE LS-1.0 SHEET STATES COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL IS 84
 FEET 9 INCHES FOR A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY AND OCCUPANT
 LOAD OF 30 OR LESS YOU WERE OK, BUT FOR A MERCANTILE
 OCCUPANCY 1706/ 60= 29 +2 STORAGE = 31 OCCUPANTS TABLE
 1006.2.1 ONLY ALLOWS 75 FEET MAXIMUM COMMON PATH OF
 TRAVEL, EVEN IF FIRE SPRINKLERED BUILDINGS.
  
 5) SHEET A2.1 INDICATES NEW ROOF TOP UNIT AND CURB,
 SHEET M701 STATES NEW ROOF FRAMING BY STRUCTURAL
 ENGINEER. 2020 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON
 STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE
 DETERMINED BY METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE
 INTO ACCOUNT EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC
 COMPATIBILITY AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL
 PROPERTIES. EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST
 THE OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 THE ROOF TOP A/C STAND PRODUCT APPROVALS, TO BE
 REVIEWED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE
 FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS CALCULATING THE AREA (SIDE VIEW)
 OF THE ROOF TOP COMPRESSORS, CONFIGURATION ON STAND,
 THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF THE STAND AND COMPRESSORS,
 WEIGHT, CIRCLED THE DESIGN PARAMETERS IN THE TABLES,
 ANCHORS AND UPLIFT VERSES MOMENT FOR THE UNIT TO THE
 STAND AND THE STAND TO THE ROOF. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL

 COMMENT IS A RESULT OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 INTERPRETATION ON 06/2020. IN BATHROOMS, RESTROOMS &
 SERVICE SINK AREAS EPOXY PAINT IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED
 A SMOOTH HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE.
  
 8A) 1210.2.2 WALLS & PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET OF
 SERVICE SINKS, URINALS, AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A
 SMOOTH, HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE TO A HEIGHT OF NOT
 LESS THAN 4 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR, EXCEPT FOR STRUCTURAL
 ELEMENTS, THE MATERIAL USED IN SUCH WALLS SHALL BE OF A
 TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY MOISTURE.
