 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) A1.0 FLOOR PLAN:
 1A) ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM AND INSWING DOOR. 2020
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE FIGURE 604.8.1.6 SHOWS AN
 OUTSWING DOOR. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION 603.2.3. DOORS
 SHALL NOT SWING INTO THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE OR
 CLEARANCES REQUIRED FOR ANY FIXTURE. DOORS SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO SWING INTO THE REQUIRED TURNING SPACE.
 PLEASE SEE EXCEPTION 2. WHERE TOILET ROOMS ARE FOR
 INDIVIDUAL USE AND A CLEAR FLOORS SPACE COMPLYING WITH
 305.3 IS PROVIDED WITHIN THE ROOM BEYOND THE ARC OF THE
 DOOR SWING. WHAT IS MISSING IS THE REQUIRED 30X48 INCH
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE BEYOND THE ARC OF THE DOOR. USUALLY
 AT A 45% ANGLE TO THE DOOR ENTRANCE.
  
 1B) UNISEX RESTROOM ROOM FINISH SCHEDULE SHOWS PAINT-1
 FINISH FOR ALL WALLS. PLEASE REVIEW2020 FBC-B 1210.2.2.
 WALLS & PARTITIONS. THIS COMMENT IS A RESULT OF THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL INTERPRETATION ON 06/2020. IN
 BATHROOMS, RESTROOMS & SERVICE SINK AREAS EPOXY PAINT
 IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED A SMOOTH HARD, NON-ABSORBENT
 SURFACE.
 1210.2.2 WALLS & PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET OF SERVICE
 SINKS, URINALS, AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH,
 HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE TO A HEIGHT OF NOT LESS
 THAN 4 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR, EXCEPT FOR STRUCTURAL
 ELEMENTS, THE MATERIAL USED IN SUCH WALLS SHALL BE OF A
 TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY MOISTURE.
 FBC-BUILDING CODE 2509.1. WET AREAS. SHOWERS AND PUBLIC
 TOILET WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH 1210.2.

 SURFACE SEE DETAILS FOR MOUNTING HEIGHTS. NO SUCH
 DETAILS. 2020 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO
 INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 902.3 HEIGHT. THE
 TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34
 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
 1E) THE COVERSHEET STATES AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 41 TOTAL
 OCCUPANT LOAD. THE FLOOR PLAN IS SILENT TO DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS. 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 211.2 MINIMUM
 NUMBER. NO FEWER THAN TWO DRINKING FOUNTAINS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED. ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH 602.1
 THROUGH 602.6 AND ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 602.7.
  
 1E(1)PROTRUDING OBJECTS 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS 307.2.
 OBJECTS WITH LEADING EDGES MORE THAN 27 INCHES AND NOT
 MORE THAN 80 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOR SHALL NOT PROTRUDE
 MORE THAN 4 INCHES HORIZONTALLY INTO THE CIRCULATION

 NOT PROHIBITED THROUGH STOCKROOMS IN GROUP M
 OCCUPANCIES WHERE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE MET:
 2.1 THE STOCK IS OF THE SAME HAZARD CLASSIFICATION AS
 FOUND IN THE MAIN RETAIL AREA.
 2.2 NOT MORE THAN 50 PERCENT OF THE EXIT ACCESS IS
 THROUGH THE STOCKROOM.
 2.3 THE STOCKROOM IS NOT SUBJECT TO LOCKING FROM THE
 EGRESS SIDE.
 2.4 THERE IS A DEMARCATED MINIMUM 44-INCH-WIDE AISLE
 FIXED WALL OR SIMILAR CONSTRUCTION AND LEADS DIRECTLY
 FROM THE RETAIL AREA TO THE EXIT WITHOUT OBSTRUCTIONS.
