 CORRECTIONS NEEDED -
  
 THE PALM BEACH COUNTY MAP SHOWS THAT THE BUILDING IS IN
 A FLOOD ZONE (AE6).
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A COST BREAK DOWN FOR THE ENTIRE
 ALTERATION. THE TOTAL JOB COST WILL BE NEEDED TO
 DETERMINE IF THE COMPLETE ALTERATION IS A SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT. FBC E 701.3 FLOOD HAZARD AREAS.
 IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, ALTERATIONS THAT CONSTITUTE
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT SHALL REQUIRE THAT THE BUILDING
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 1612 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 BUILDING, OR SECTION R322 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 RESIDENTIAL, AS APPLICABLE.
  
 FBC EXISTING BUILDING 202 - SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT.
 FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FLOOD PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE, ANY REPAIR, ALTERATION,
 ADDITION, OR IMPROVEMENT OF A BUILDING OR STRUCTURE,
 THE COST OF WHICH EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THE
 MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE, BEFORE THE IMPROVEMENT
 OR REPAIR IS STARTED.
  
 IF THE JOB IS A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT THE FINISHED
 FLOOR OF THE HOUSE WILL NEED TO BE 2 FEET ABOVE THE
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 6 FOOT PER CITY ORDINANCE -
 4729-17 SEC. 18-33 - TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL. (A) R322.2.1 (1)
  
 A SURVEY COULD BE USED TO SHOW IF THE FINISHED FLOOR
