 1-THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN A AE FLOOD ZONE WITH A
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (BFE) OF 6 FEET BASED ON NAVD 88.
 THE PROPOSED WORK IS CONSIDERED A SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT. THE BUILDING SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR
 FINISHED ELEVATION ELEVATED TO OR ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION PLUS TWO FEET. THEREFORE, THE MIN. REQUIRED
 FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION IS 8 FEET.
 NOTE: PROVIDE SIGNED AND SEALED FLOOD HAZARD
 DOCUMENTATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 1612.5 FBC-BUILDING
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE. PLANS NEED TO SHOW THE FINISHED
 FLOOR ELEVATION. ALSO, NEED TO PROVIDE THE ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE AND SURVEY SHOWING THE ELEVATIONS FOR
 VERIFICATION.

 NOTE:
 COORDINATE WITH CITY HISTORIC PRESERVATION IF HISTORIC
 VARIANCE MAY BE APPLIED FOR AND BUILDING MAY RETAIN THE
 HISTORIC VALUE AFTER THE ALTERATION.
