 (1)-THE PROPOSED ALTERATION/ADDITION IS GOING TO BE
 BUILT IN A AE FLOOD ZONE WITH A BASE FLOOD ELEVATION
 (BFE) OF 6, 7 AND 8 FEET BASED ON NAVD 88.
 THE PROPOSED WORK IS CONSIDERED A SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT. THE ADDITION AND THE EXISTING HOUSE SHALL
 HAVE THE LOWEST FLOOR FINISHED ELEVATION ELEVATED TO OR
 ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION PLUS TWO FEET.
 NOTE: PLANS (INCLUDING FOUNDATION PLAN) NEED TO SHOW
 THE PROPOSED FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATIONS FOR MAIN HOUSE
 AND GARAGES.
 IMPORTANT: NEED TO PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
 ELEVATION CERTIFICATE AND SURVEY SHOWING THE FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATIONS FOR REVIEW/ELEVATIONS VERIFICATION.

 DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS STRUCTURE THREE
 DIFFERENT FLOOD ELEVATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE
 REQUIRED:
 (A)CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS.
 (B)BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
 (C)FINISHED CONSTRUCTION.
  
 IMPORTANT NOTE:
 SECTION R322.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL STATES THAT
 BUILDINGS/STRUCTURES THAT ARE LOCATED IN MORE THAN ONE
 FLOOD HAZARD AREA SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS
 ASSOCIATED WITH THE MOST RESTRICTIVE FLOOD HAZARD AREA.
 KEEP THIS IN MIND IF THE PROPOSED ADDITION WILL TOUCH
 THE CONTOUR OF THE FLOOD HARD AREA WITH THE 8 FEET
 BASED FLOOD ELEVATION. ALSO PROPOSED OUTDOOR KITCHEN
 WILL BE LOCATED IN THE 8 FT BFE.
  
 (2)- PROPOSED WORK AFFECTS THE LOT DRAINAGE. PROVIDE
 DRAINAGE PLAN SHOWING HOW THE SURFACE DRAINAGE IS KEPT
 WITHIN THE LOT AND NOT DIVERTED TO ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
 PROVIDE DRAINAGE PLAN SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FOLLOWING SECTIONS: R401.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SEC.
 107.2.5 CITY AMENDMENTS AND SEC. 110.9 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: DRAINAGE PLAN TO SHOW THE EXISTING AND PROPOSED
 GRADE ELEVATIONS SHOWING HOW KEEPING WATER AWAY FROM
 ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
 COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 (3)STRUCTURAL PLANS:
 (A)PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR ENCLOSED AREAS BELOW THE
 DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R322.2.2
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR FLOOD
 OPENINGS. SPECIFY LOCATION, TYPE AND SIZE. AND PROVIDE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL IF USING ENGINEERED FLOOD VENTS.
  
 (A)DESIGN CRITERIA ON SHEET S100: ENGINEER TO SPECIFY
 THE WIND SPEED CONVERSION. SEC. R301.2.1.3
