 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) 2ND REQUEST. STOREFRONT REPLACEMENT FRONT DOORS

 WINDOWS+ 65/-75PSF. VERTICAL MULLIONS NOT IDENTIFIED
 FOR HEIGHT, FL19973-R5 SHEETS 7- 10. UPDATE PLAN
 SHEETS.
  
 2) 2ND REQUEST. THIS REVIEW A WIND DESIGN CRITERIA
 SHEET AND WIND LOAD CALCULATION SHEET WERE SUBMITTED.
 2A) BOTH SHEETS STATE THE WIND SPEED VULT TO BE 160
 MPH. WIND DESIGN CRITERIA INDICATES A RISK CATEGORY II.
 PLEASE REVIEW IN THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE FIGURE
 1609.3.1FOR RISK CATEGORY II STRUCTURES THE WIND SPEED
 IS 170 VULT / 132VASD. CATEGORY I BUILDINGS WOULD BE
 160 VULT OUT FARM BUILDINGS.
  
 2B) THE OTHER ISSUE IS LISTING THIS LOCATION AS A B
 EXPOSURE. !000 FEET EAST IS THE INTERCOASTAL WHICH IS A
 D EXPOSURE. THIS WOULD BE IN A TRANSITION ZONE OR C
 EXPOSURE NOT B. PLEASE UPDATE PLAN INFORMATION.
  
 3) 2ND REQUEST. SUBMITTED IN THIS REVIEW IS A PICTURE
 STATING THE REMOVAL OF DECORATIVE ROOFING STRUCTURE
 OUTLINED IN RED. A SEPARATE ROOFING CONTRACTOR WILL BE
 REQUIRED FOR A ROOFING REPAIR/ MODIFICATION PERMIT. A
 ROOFING CONTRACTOR WILL NEED TO PULL THE ROOFING
 SUB-PERMIT. SEE FL S. 489.113.3.(B) A GENERAL, BUILDING
 OR RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO
 SUBCONTRACT THE INSTALLATION, OR REPAIR MADE UNDER
 WARRANTY, OF WOOD SHINGLES, WOOD SHAKES, OR ASPHALT OR
 FIBERGLASS SHINGLE ROOFING MATERIALS ON A NEW BUILDING
 OF HIS OR HER OWN CONSTUCTION. REFERENCE THIS PERMIT AS
 THE MASTER.
  
 4)CONTRACTOR DID MAKE A PHONE CALL TO ME BUT THERE HAS
 BEEN NO PICTURES TAKEN TO VERIFY THE TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR DID CONTINUE TO DO
 ADDITIONAL WORK WITHOUT BENEFIT OF PERMIT BUT THIS
 ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF HOW
 THE OVERHANG WAS CONSTRUCTED, POSSIBLE TRUSSES, A
 ENGINEER MAY NEED TO BE CONSULTED IF TRUSSES ARE TO BE
 CUT AND MODIFIED. ALSO THERE IS NO PLAN FOR DETAIL
 SUBMITTED FOR THE ROOF MODIFICATION AND WOOD SHEATHING
 TO BE USED, SPAN OF FRAMING MEMBERS. 2020 WEST PALM
 BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER
 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL
 BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE
 AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT
 IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 5) NEW COMMENT. THE CONTRACTOR HAS CONTINUED TO WORK
 WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A PERMIT. THE SCOPE OF WORK ALSO
 HAS CHANGED TO INCLUDE A INTERIOR BUILDOUT WHICH CAN BE
 INCORPORATED INTO THIS PERMIT OR APPLY FOR A NEW
 PERMIT. IF THE SCOPE OF WORK IS TO BE INCORPORATED INTO
 THIS PERMIT A NEW PERMIT APPLICATION WILL BE REQUIRED
 AND THE VALUE OF WORK WILL ALSO NEED TO BE INCREASE.
 INSPECTOR TOOK 9 PICTURES SHOWING ADDITIONAL WORK WAS
 COMPLETED WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A PERMIT.
  
 6) NEW COMMENT THERE ARE 2 FLOOR PLANS WITH DIFFERENT
 ADDRESS 215 AND 217 SOUTHERN BLVD. THE 2 FLOOR PLANS DO
 NOT MATCH ONE IS IN THE CENTER OF THE BUILDING WHILE
 THE OTHER IS TO THE WEST END OF THE BUILDING SHOWING A
 NEW SIDE ENTRY AND 4 NEW WINDOWS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
 THE BUILDING. PICTURES FROM INSPECTOR ALSO CONFIRM 4
 NEW WINDOW OPENINGS. PLEASE PROVIDE AN ENGINEERING
 DETAIL HOW THE MWFRS ( MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING
 SYSTEM) WAS ACCOMPLISHED.
 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1101.2 / / LEVEL II 801.3
 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. CREATION OR
 EXTENSION OF NONCONFORMITY. ALL NEW WORK,
 RE-CONFIGURATION SHALL NOT CREATE OR EXTEND ANY
 NONCONFORMITY IN THE EXISTING BUILDING TO WHICH THE
 RE-CONFIGURATION OF SPACE IS BEING MADE WITH REGARD TO
 ACCESSIBILITY, STRUCTURAL STRENGTH, FIRE SAFETY, MEANS
 OF EGRESS, OR THE CAPACITY OF MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, OR
 ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.
  
 7) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY OF THE PROPERTY TO VERIFY
 THE NEW OPENINGS MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN TABLE
 705.8 OF THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE.
  
 8) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWING INTERIOR WALLS DOES NOT
 INDICATE THE OCCUPANCY TYPE NOR ARE THE ROOMS LABELED
 AS TO THEIR END USE. PLEASE NOTE WHERE THE RESTROOM IS
 LOCATED AND HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020 ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE IS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED.
 FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION: DISPROPORTIONATE
 COST 202.4.1. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU ARE TO MEET
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW HOW
 THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND UP TO THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE
 FUNDS LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE THE FUNDS ARE BEING
 SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE 2020 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 9) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWING NEW WALLS, SHOWS DIRECTLY IN
 FRONT OF THE DOUBLE ENTRY DOORS AND PROVIDE THE CLEAR
 WIDTH OF THE OPENING TO THE RIGHT. 107.2.1.2. 2020 WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1. CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE
 LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND
 SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS
 OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND
 REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 10A) ONE PICTURE THE INSPECTOR TOOK SHOWS WHAT APPEARS
 TO BE A CHECK OUT COUNTER PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE
 WITH SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020 FBC-ACCESS. CODE
 305.5 POSITION. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, CLEAR FLOOR
 OR GROUND SPACE SHALL BE POSITIONED FOR EITHER A
 FORWARD OR PARALLEL APPROACH TO AN ELEMENT.
  
 10B) 904.4 SALES AND SERVICE COUNTERS. SALES COUNTERS
 AND SERVICE COUNTERS SHALL COMPLY WITH 904.4.1 OR
 904.4.2. THE ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE COUNTERTOP SHALL
 EXTEND THE SAME DEPTH AS THE SALES OR SERVICE COUNTER
 TOP.
  
 11) THERE APPEARS NOW TO BE 3 TENANT SPACES PLEASE ALSO
 PROVIDE WHAT THE SITE ADDRESS WILL BE FOR WORK SUCH AS
 PARKING REPAVING OR NEW ROOF FOR THE WHOLE BUILDING, OR
 LANDSCAPING. CITY MUNI CODE SEC.78-6 (1-7)
 (2) LOCATION, BUILDINGS CONTAINING MORE THAN ONE
 ADDRESS. ALL ADDRESSES SHALL BE POSTED ON THAT PORTION
 OF THE STRUCTURE FRONTING OR FACING UPON THE STREET OR
 PRINCIPAL VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE PREMISES, SO AS TO BE
 READILY VISIBLE TO APPROACHING VEHICLES. OWNERS OR
 TENANTS OF ALL HOUSES AND BUILDINGS USING A SERVICE
 ALLEY SHALL ALSO POST A NUMBER ON THE SIDE OF THE
 BUILDINGS ADJACENT TO AND FACING SUCH ALLEY. IF THE
 HOUSE OR BUILDING IS OBSTRUCTED BY A FENCE, THEN THE
 NUMBER SHALL BE POSTED ON THE FENCE. THE PLACEMENT OF

 SEPARATE ADDRESS MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
 SECTION AT THE EXTERIOR ENTRANCE TO EACH INDIVIDUAL
 ADDRESS OR COMMON EXTERIOR ENTRANCE TO SEVERAL
 ADDRESSES THEREIN, AND THE UNIT NUMBER SHALL ALSO BE
 POSTED ON THE EXTERIOR DOOR OF EACH UNIT SERVED BY SUCH
 A COMMON EXTERIOR ENTRANCE.
 (3) MONUMENT SIGNS. ALL MONUMENT SIGNS FOR MULTIPLE
 RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, OR INSTITUTIONAL
