 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1-4) COMPLIED.
  
 5) 3RD REQUEST. THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT UNDERSTANDS THE
 OWNERS REQUEST TO LIMIT THE BUILDING TO 495 OCCUPANTS.
 WHEN LOOKING AT BUILDINGS ESPECIALLY ASSEMBLY
 OCCUPNCIES WE LOOK AT THE WORST CASE SCENARIO OR 768
 OCCUPANTS. THE ISSUE WITH THRESHOLD STATUTES WE HAVE NO
 CONTROL OVER. THERE ARE AREAS IN YOUR BUILDING ANALYSIS
 WHERE YOU NEED TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK, FOR EXAMPLE YOU
 SHOW THE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY FACTOR OF 100 SF GROSS
 WHEREAS THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE TABLE 1004.5 USES A
 FACTOR OF 150 SF/ OCCUPANT. THE COURT IS POSSIBLY
 ANOTHER AREA WHERE THE OCCUPANT LOAD COULD BE REDUCED.
  
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. THIS PORTION OF THE BUILDING IS
 TO BE CLASSIFIED AS AN THRESHOLD BUILDING, FL. S. S.
 553.71 (7) ANY BUILDING WHICH HAS AN ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY
 WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ. FT. IN AREA AND AN OCCUPANT
 CONTENT OF GREATER THAN 500 PERSONS, AS STATED ON PLAN
 796 OCCUPANTS.
  
 5A) 3RD REQUEST. 109.3.6.1 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN.
 THE ENFORCING AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A (WRITTEN/ TYPED)
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON
 A THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE
 STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 ENFORCING AGENCY PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING
 PERMIT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING.
 THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN IS TO
 PROVIDE SPECIFIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO
 THAT THE BUILDING CAN BE ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE PERMITTED DOCUMENTS.

 OF PAGES 6-8, ONLY PAGE 8 WAS SIGNED AND SUBMITTED.

 553.79(5) FLORIDA STATUTES TO THE MINIMUM INSPECTIONS
 REQUIRED BY THIS CODE. THE THRESHOLD INSPECTION FORMS
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE FILED OUT BY ALL PARTIES WITH
 INTEREST, NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THIS OFFICE, AND
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE WILL TAKE
 PLACE.
  
 5C) 3RD REQUEST. THRESHOLD BLDG., REQUIRED STATEMENT:
 W.P.B. AMENDMENT 110.3.7.4.4 ALL PLANS FOR THE BUILDING
 WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE
 ARCHITECT OR ENGINEER OF RECORD CONTAIN A STATEMENT
 THAT, TO THE BEST OF THE ARCHITECT'S OR ENGINEER'S
 KNOWLEDGE, THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE
 APPLICABLE FIRE-SAFETY STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE
 LOCAL AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION AND 633
 FLORIDA STATUTE.

 5F) NEW COMMENT. THIS REVIEW THE OCCUPANCY WENT FROM
 MIXED USE TO AN A-3 WITH ACCESSORY USE. PLEASE REVIEW
 IN THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE SECTION 508.2.3 THE
 AGGREGATE ACCESSORY OCCUPANCIES SHALL NOT OCCUPY MORE
 THAN 10 % OF THE FLOOR AREA. TOTAL SQUARE FOOT AREA OF
 TENANT SPACE IS 30,079 SF, 10% OF THIS AREA IS 3,0087
 SF. BUSINESS, DAYCARE AND LOCKER ROOMS ARE 10,034 SF
 OVER THE ALLOWED 10% FLOOR AREA. MUST BE A MIXED
 OCCUPANCY.
  
 6-14) COMPLIED.
