 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THE PERMIT APPLICATION UNDER SCOPE OF WORK IS TO
 REPLACE THE KITCHEN REMOVE AND INSTALL 638 SQ. FT. OF
 FLOOR TILE AND WHISPER MAT CS UNDERLAYMENT. THE
 DECLARED VALUE OF THE PROJECT IS $2,500.00 DOLLARS.
 THIS AMOUNT IS EXTREMELY LOW. THE VALUE OF THE FLOOR
 TILE AND UNDERLAYMENT ALONE IS $5,750.00 DOLLARS, NOT
 INCLUDING CABINETRY, LABOR, PROFIT AND OVERHEAD.
  
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE, ELECTRICAL, GAS,
 MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS APPEARS TO BE
 UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE
 DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS
 AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT VALUE FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL
 ADJUSTMENTS FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS.
