 CORRECTIONS NEEDED -
  
 1) DRAWING S-3 - "STRUCTURAL NOTES" SHOW FBC 2017 USING
 ASCE 7-10 FOR THE WIND DESIGN - SHOULD BE FBC 2020
 USING ASCE 7-16 FOR THE WIND DESIGN. FBC CHAPTER 35
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE A SURVEY SHOWING FEMA BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATION AND THE DELINEATION LINE BETWEEN THE AE6 AND
 THE AE7 FLOOD ZONES.
  
 3) THE JOB IS A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT - FBC EXISTING
 BUILDING 701.3 FLOOD HAZARD AREAS.
 IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, ALTERATIONS THAT CONSTITUTE
 SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT SHALL REQUIRE THAT THE BUILDING
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 1612 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 BUILDING, OR SECTION R322 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 RESIDENTIAL, AS APPLICABLE.
 FBC EXISTING BUILDING SECTION202 - SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT. FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE FLOOD PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE, ANY REPAIR,
 ALTERATION, ADDITION, OR IMPROVEMENT OF A BUILDING OR
 STRUCTURE, THE COST OF WHICH EQUALS OR EXCEEDS 50
 PERCENT OF THE MARKET VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE, BEFORE
 THE IMPROVEMENT OR REPAIR IS STARTED.
  
 4) THE ENTIRE BUILDING WILL NEED TO BE ELEVATED TO 2
 FEET ABOVE THE FEMA BASE FLOOD ELEVATION -
 ORDINANCE NO. 4729-17 SECTION 4 SEC. 18-33 - TECHNICAL
 AMENDMENTS TO FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL.
  
 (A) R322.2.1 ELEVATION REQUIREMENTS.
  
 1. BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS NOT
 DESIGNATED AS COASTAL A ZONES
 SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST FLOORS ELEVATED TO OR ABOVE THE
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION PLUS TWO
 FEET OR THE DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION, WHICHEVER IS
 HIGHER.
