 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1 FLOOR & CEILING PLAN:
  
 1A) FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION:
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST 202.4.1. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU
 ARE TO MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE
 CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR
 LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW HOW THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND UP
 TO THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE FUNDS ($80,000.00 X 0.20=
 $16,000.00 DOLLARS) LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE THE
 FUNDS ARE BEING SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN
 SECTION 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE 2020
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 1B) FRONT ENTRY MAYBE EXISTING BUT IS NOT ACCESSIBLE.
 THE FIRST ITEM ON THE DISPROPORTIONATE COST LIST IS AN
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE. 202.4.1. DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA WILL BE DEEMED
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN THE
 COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE ALTERATION TO THE
 PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COST THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS
 EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUT TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COST ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS ENLARGING DOOR OPENINGS,
 INSTALLING GRAB BARS, ENLARGING TOILET STALLS,
 INSULATING PIPES, OR INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET
 CONTROLS; (III) COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE
 TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT, INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION
 DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV)
 COST ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING AN ACCESSIBLE DRINKING
 FOUNTAIN.
  
 1C) PLEAS REVIEW IN THE 2020FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTIONS 404.3 AUTOMATIC AND POWER-ASSISTED DOORS AND
 404.3.2. NOTE STANDBY POWER WILL NEED TO OCCUR OR
 OTHERWISE COMPLY WITH 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES.
 PLEASE ALSO REVIEW THE REQUIRED CONTROLS IN 404.3.5.
  
 1D) THE BUSINESS MANAGERS DESK MAYBE BY TENANT BUT WILL
 NEED TO MEET THE ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN
 SECTIONS:
 1D)(1) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 1D)(2) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE
 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE
 FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 1E) THE DESK IN OFFICE # 2 , THE OFFICE AND BOOTH DOES
 NOT PROVIDE THE EIGHT OF THE DESK NOR COMPLIANCE WITH
 909.2 NOR 909.3.
  
 1F) THE BOOTH DOOR IS MISSING FROM THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON
 SHEET A-2. STATES BY MANUFACTURER. 2020 FBC-B 1010.1.1.
 SIZE OF DOORS. CLEAR WIDTH. DOOR OPENINGS SHALL PROVIDE
 A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES MINIMUM. CLEAR OPENINGS OF
 DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE MEASURED BETWEEN
 THE FACE OF THE DOOR AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN
 AT 90 DEGREES.
  
 1G) PLEASE PROVIDE THE INTERIOR FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
 OF THE BOOTH AND THE REQUIRED TURNING SPACE IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH 304.3.
  
 1H) THE BOOTH DOES NOT PROVIDE IF THERE IS A BASE
 WITHIN THE BOOTH MAKING THE BOOTH FINISH FLOOR HIGHER
 THAN THE FLOOR LEVEL OF THE TENANT SPACE. PLEASE REFER
 TO RAMPS FOUND IN SECTION 405.2 FOR SLOPE.
  
 1I) THE FLOOR PLAN DOES SHOW A DOUBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN
 ON THE FLOOR PLAN. SHEET A003 ONLY SHOWS THE LOW
 DRINKING FOUNTAIN DETAIL (WHEELCHAIR), IT DOES NOT SHOW
 THE HEIGHT FOR THE STANDING PERSON IN COMPLIANCE WITH
 602.7 SPOUT HEIGHT FOR THE STANDING PERSONS SHALL BE
 BETWEEN 38 TO 43 INCHES ABOVE FINISH FLOOR.
  
 1J) THE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM ON SHEET A-1 NOR SHEET A-2
 NEITHER SHOW 30 X 48 INCH CLEAR FLOOR SPACE BEYOND THE
 ARC OF THE INSWING DOOR. PLEASE REVIEW 603.2.3 AND
 EXCEPTION 2. WHERE TOILET ROOMS ARE FOR INDIVIDUAL USE
 AND A CLEAR FLOORS SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305.3 IS
 PROVIDED WITHIN THE ROOM BEYOND THE ARC OF THE DOOR
 SWING. WHAT IS MISSING IS THE REQUIRED 30X48 INCH CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE BEYOND THE ARC OF THE DOOR. USUALLY AT A
 45% ANGLE TO THE DOOR ENTRANCE.
  
 2) SHEET A2 RESTROOM ELEVATIONS DOES NOT SHOW THE
 FINISH WALL MATERIAL. 2020 FBC-B 1210.2.2. WALLS &
 PARTITIONS. THIS COMMENT IS A RESULT OF THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL INTERPRETATION ON 06/2020. IN BATHROOMS,
 RESTROOMS & SERVICE SINK AREAS EPOXY PAINT IS NO LONGER
 CONSIDERED A SMOOTH HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE.
  
 2A) 1210.2.2 WALLS & PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET OF
 SERVICE SINKS, URINALS, AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A
 SMOOTH, HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE TO A HEIGHT OF NOT
 LESS THAN 4 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR, EXCEPT FOR STRUCTURAL
 ELEMENTS, THE MATERIAL USED IN SUCH WALLS SHALL BE OF A
 TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY MOISTURE.
  
 2B) 2020 FBC-B 2509.2 BASE FOR TILE. MATERIALS USED AS
 A BASE FOR WALL TILE IN TUB AND SHOWER AREAS AND WALLS
 AND CEILING PANELS IN SHOWER AREAS SHALL BE OF
 MATERIALS LISTED IN TABLE 2509.2 AND INSTALLED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER???S RECOMMENDATIONS. WATER
 RESISTANT GYPSUM (MR BOARD) SHALL NOT BE USED FOR
 SHOWER & TUB ENCLOSURES BUT CAN BE USED FOR BACKING
 BOARD FOR A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET COMPARTMENT
 WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GA-216 OR ASTM
 C840 AND THE MANUFACTURE???S RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
 3) SHEET A-2 SHOWS A DETAIL FOR A PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
 DRAWING FOR QUICK STAND #30 SWHP-WM WALL MOUNTED
 EQUIPMENT PLATFORM BUT DOES NOT PROVIDE WHAT TYPE OF
 WALL IS TO SUPPORT THIS UNIT NOR THE ANCHORS TO SUPPORT
 THE 30-GALLON FILLED WATER HEATER AND STAND. INTERIOR
 NON-LOAD BEARING METAL STUDS SEE SECTION 1607.14.
  
 4) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
