 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THE PERMIT APPLICATION INDICATES THE PERMIT VALUE OF
 $85,000.00 DOLLARS. THE PROPOSED DOLLAR AMOUNT IS
 EXTREMELY LOW FOR THE BUILDOUT OF THE 3RD FLOOR EAST.
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 2) THE COVERSHEET LIST SHEETS A-1 THROUGH A9 THE
 COMPLETE SET OF PLANS WERE NOT SUBMITTED. 2020 WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO
 INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE
 PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES,
 RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 3) SHEET A-3 FLOORPLAN:
 3A) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE RECEPTION DESK, BUT NO
 DETAIL SHEETS WERE SUBMITTED TO PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE SECTION 902.3 HEIGHT. THE
 TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34
 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 2B) THE FLOOR PLAN INDICATES THE BREAK ROOM WITH
 CABINETRY AND SINK. 606 LAVATORIES AND SINKS> 2020
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 606.3 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES
 AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE FRONT OF THE
 HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE 34 INCHES MAXIMUM
 ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND. ACCESS. CODE SECTION
 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28
 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR OR GROUND.
