 2- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING
 HOW COMPLYING WITH THE NEW 2020 CODE REQUIREMENT FOR
 ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT. SEC. R905.1.1.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY WHICH METHOD OF SEC. R905.1.1.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL IS GOING TO BE USED. AND PROVIDE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY F.A.C. 61G20-3.001.
  
 RESPONSE:
 PARTIALLY COMPLIED. NEED THE FOLLOWING:
  
 A)PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR 4" WIDE STRIPS TO BE
 USED AS REQUESTED ON THE ORIGINAL COMMENT.
 FAC 61G20.3.001.
  
 B) THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT APOC TUFF FELT UNDERLAYMENTS
 ON NOA 18-0409.06. ARCHITECT TO SPECIFY WHICH ONE IS
 GOING TO BE INSTALLED. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 NOTE: TABLE R905.1.1.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL REQUIRES TYPE II
 UNDERLAYMENT.
  
 C) ARCHITECT SPECIFIES ASTM D266 UNDERLAYMENT. IT LOOKS
 LIKE THIS IS A TYPO. THE CORRECT REFERENCE IS ASTM
 D226. CLARIFY/REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- MASTER PERMIT WAS APPROVED WITH GAF SHINGLES
 UNDERLAYMENT VERSASHIELD NOA 21-1027.02 (NOTE: SECTION
 R905.1.1.1(4) REQUIRES TWO LAYERS OF THIS
 UNDERLAYMENT).
 IF THERE IS GOING TO BE A DIFFERENT UNDERLAYMENT, THEN
 PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1
 AND #2 ABOVE TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 NOTE: DOUBLE UNDERLAYMENT WILL BE REQUIRED IF THE ROOF
 PITCH IS LESS THAN 4:12. SEE TABLE R905.1.1.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ARCHITECT TO SPECIFY ROOF PITCH.
