 PREVIOUS COMMENT:
 (1)FLOOR PLAN SHOWS REPLACEMENT OF EXTERIOR DOORS FOR
 MASTER BEDROOM AND FAMILY ROOM. ACCORDING TO CITY
 RECORDS THESE TWO ROOMS ARE GARAGE AND PORCH
 RESPECTIVELY. THERE ARE NO PERMITS IN THE CITY RECORDS
 FOR CONVERSION OF GARAGE AND PORCH. IT LOOKS LIKE THESE
 ENCLOSURES WERE DONE WITHOUT RESPECTIVE PERMITS. NEED
 TO PROVIDE COMPLETE SET OF PLANS SHOWING PROPOSED
 CONVERSION. SEC. 105.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 (A)BUILDING THERMAL ENVELOPE. ENGINEER OF RECORD NEEDS
 TO DEPICT THE BUILDING THERMAL ENVELOPE. NEED TO
 SPECIFY INSULATION MATERIALS AND THEIR R-VALUES.(ROOF,
 WALLS, RAISED FLOOR ABOVE GARAGE, ETC.) AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 (B)ENGINEER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY ALL THE WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 SPECIFY THE ULTIMATE AND NOMINAL WIND LOAD, BUILDING
 EXPOSURE, BUILDING MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. ALSO, SPECIFY THE
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES. (DOORS,
 WINDOWS).
  
 (C)ENGINEER OF RECORD TO CLARIFY WHAT IS "TYPE 1B"
 SPECIFIED ON SHEET A-1 UNDER "STATS". IF ENGINEER IS
 SPECIFYING THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, THEN IT IS
 INCORRECT. ENGINEER TO SEE SEC. 602 FBC-BUILDING AND
 REVISE CONSTRUCTION TYPE AS REQUIRED.
  
 (D) A LANDING IS REQUIRED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE FAMILY
 ROOM FRENCH DOORS. SEC. R311.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.

 (2)DOOR PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED IS INCOMPLETE. NEED
 TO PROVIDE COMPLETE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL, INCLUDING
 THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE THAT
 CORRESPONDS TO THE DRAWINGS SUBMITTED. FAC 61G20.3.001
 NOTE: THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL IS REQUIRED BECAUSE
 IT SHOWS IF PRODUCT IS APPROVED AND CURRENT CODE IN
 EFFECT. CHAPTER 553 F.S.

 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. UPDATE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL COSTS.
  
 NOTE: THE VALUE IS TO INCLUDE ALL WORK TO RENOVATE THE
 RESIDENCE WITH NEW MASTER BEDROOM, FLORIDA ROOM AND
 REST OF THE HOUSE AS SHOWN ON PLANS.

 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
