 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SUBMITTED SPEC SHEET FOR UNDERLAYMENT FLOORLOT,
 GOLDMAX. PLEASE NOTE THE SUBMITTED PAPERWORK IS NOT
 TEST REPORTS. NOR TEST REPORTS FOR LAMINATE FLOORING.
  
 FLOOR INSULATION/ UNDERLAYMENT (FBC-B 2020) FOR TILE,
 STONE, MARBLE, VINYL (LYT/ LYP), LAMINATE FLOORING AND
 WOOD FLOORING ALL NEED TO HAVE HAD THE SOUND
 UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR ASSEMBLIES TO THE FOLLOWING
 STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS LISTED UNDER EACH
 OF THE STANDARDS FOR A 6-INCH CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/
 NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THREE TEST REPORTS FOR TYPE I AND OR
 TYPE II BUILDINGS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 1A) FBC-B 2020 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.
  
 1B) FBC-B 2020 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND. WALLS,
 PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES SEPARATING
 DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM PUBLIC OR
 SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION CLASS
 (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED) FOR
 AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E
 90.
  
 1C) FBC-B 804.4.4.1 SOFT FLOOR FINISHES (LVT/ LPT OR
 LAMINATED OR ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING) WITHIN TENANT
 SPACE. INTERIOR FLOOR COVERING MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY
 WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE COC FF-1 ???PILL TEST???
 (CPSC 16 CFR PART 1630) OR WITH ASTM D2859.
  
 2) FLOORING VALUATION. THE PERMIT VERIFICATION OF VALUE
 COULD NOT OCCUR THIS REVIEW SINCE THE SQ. FT. AREA AND
 FLOOR PRODUCT NOR UNDERLAYMENT WERE NOT PROVIDED,
 $2400.00 IS VERY LOW FOR UNDERLAYMENT & LAMINATE
 FLOORING.
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. IF, IN THE OPINION OF
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE CLAIMED VALUATION OF
 BUILDING OR ALTERATION APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON
 THE APPLICATION, THE PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDING OR
 ALTERATION THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF
 THE ALTERATION SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO
 INCLUDE THE DEMOLITION, DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS, FLOOR FLASH
 PATCH, UNDERLAYMENT COST AND LABOR, THE FLOOR FINISH
 COST OF MATERIALS AND LABOR PLUS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 3) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
