 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 WE TRIED REACHING OUT TO THE CONTRACTOR AT 954-643-1327
 (FROM APP) AND FROM OUR RECORDS 954-970-7338 WHICH
 TURNED OUT TO BE A FAX.
 1) THE SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS DIVERSIFIED INDUSTRIES SOUND
 TRANSMISSION 6-INCH CONCRETE SLAB WITH SUSPENDED
 CEILING-GYPSUM BOARD WITH 3 ?? INCH FIBERGLASS
 INSULATION OVERLAID WITH DURALUX FLOOR AND FLOOR
 MUFFLER UNDERLAYMENT. AGAIN, WE DO NOT EXCEPT TEST
 REPORTS WITH DROPPED CEILINGS, ONLY 6 INCH SLABS. THE
 ONLY EXCEPTION ARE BUILDINGS THAT THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT HAS PROOF OF 8-INCH CONCRETE SLABS NO
 DROPPED CEILINGS.
 THE STRAND AT 255 EVERNIA DOES HAVE 8-INCH CONCRETE
 SLABS. ORIGINAL BUILD. PERMIT 99121621. THIS BUILDING
 WE WILL ACCEPT 8-INCH CONCRETE SLABS NO DROPPED
 CEILINGS. WE NEED TO SEE ALL 3 TEST REPORTS FOR STC,
 IIC AND FLAME SPREAD OR FOR VINYL LVT/ LPT WITHIN
 TENANT SPACE. INTERIOR FLOOR COVERING MATERIALS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE COC FF-1 PILL TEST
 (CPSC 16 CFR PART 1630) OR WITH ASTM D2859. LVT & LPT
 LUXURY VINYL TILE. FLOOR FINISH CLASSIFICATION AS
 REQUIRED IN SECTION 804.2 CLASSIFICATION AND 804.3
 TESTING AND IDENTIFICATION OF THE 2020 FBC-B. 804.2 &
 804.3/ ASTM E648 OR NFPA 253
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. THE CONTRACTOR SUBMITTED SPECS
 FOR FLOOR MUFFLER ULTRASEAL FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT 2MM. THE
 CITY IS IN RECEIPT OF THE FLAME SPREAD REPORT. WE HAVE
 A TEST REPORT FOR THE STC= 73DB BUT IT IS FOR A 6-INCH
 CONCRETE SLAB WITH DROPPEDDRYWALL GRID CEILING
 CONSISTING OF 5/8 INCH TYPE X GYPSUM BOARD, 12 INCH
 PLENUM WITH 3 ?? INCH FIBERGLASS INSULATION.
  
 2ND REQUEST. FLOOR INSULATION/ UNDERLAYMENT (FBC-B
 2020) FOR TILE, STONE, MARBLE, VINYL (LYT/ LYP),
 LAMINATE FLOORING AND WOOD FLOORING ALL NEED TO HAVE
 HAD THE SOUND UNDERLAYMENT TESTED FLOOR ASSEMBLIES TO
 THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS
 LISTED UNDER EACH OF THE STANDARDS FOR A 6 INCH
 CONCRETE FLOOR ASSEMBLY/ NO DROPPED CEILING:
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THREE TEST REPORTS FOR TYPE I AND OR
 TYPE II BUILDINGS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 1A) 2ND REQUEST. FBC-B 2020 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE
 SOUND. FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS
 OR BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E-492.

 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
