 "LEGAL" OR ITS EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR
 SPECIFIC INFORMATION".

 IS A RESULT OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL INTERPRETATION ON
 06/2020. IN BATHROOMS, RESTROOMS & SERVICE SINK AREAS
 EPOXY PAINT IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED A SMOOTH HARD,
 NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE.
  
 2A) 2ND REQUEST. 1210.2.2 WALLS & PARTITIONS WITHIN 2
 FEET OF SERVICE SINKS, URINALS, AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL
 HAVE A SMOOTH, HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE TO A HEIGHT
 OF NOT LESS THAN 4 FEET ABOVE THE FLOOR, EXCEPT FOR
 STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS, THE MATERIAL USED IN SUCH WALLS
 SHALL BE OF A TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY
 MOISTURE.
  
 2B) 2ND REQUEST. 2509.1. WET AREAS. SHOWERS AND PUBLIC
 TOILET WALLS SHALL COMPLY WITH 1210.2.

 RESISTANT GYPSUM (MR BOARD) SHALL BE USED FOR BACKING
 BOARD FOR A BASE FOR TILE IN WATER CLOSET COMPARTMENT
 WALLS WHEN INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GA-216 OR ASTM
 C840 AND THE MANUFACTURES RECOMMENDATIONS.
  
 3) BUILDING PROVISO: SHEET A-1 NOTE 4 INDICATES NEW
 FURNITURE AND NEW COUNTER TOPS BY OTHERS. THERE ARE NO
 COUNTERTOPS SHOWN IN THE FLOOR PLAN. THE LOBBY DOES
 SHOW A NEW RECEPTION DESK. IF THE DESK IS IN THE LOBBY
 BEFORE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IS ISSUED THEN IT
 MUST COMPLY WITH THE 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE:
  
 3A) 902.1.WORK SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND
 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL. WORK SURFACES INCLUDE
 WRITING SURFACES, STUDY CARRELS, STUDENT LABORATORY
 STATIONS, BABY CHANGING AND OTHER TABLES OR FIXTURES
 FOR PERSONAL GROOMING, COUPON COUNTERS, AND WHERE
 COVERED BY THE ADA SCOPING PROVISIONS, EMPLOYEE
 WORKSTATIONS.
  
 3B) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
